Here is a "how to" lesson in taking a wonderful show and destroy it while everyone watches. The problem started when Zee and Gajji went away from the expert judges and opted for public voting in the final round. Since then - even though the singing content has been maintained - the show has degenerated because of the posturing and gimmicks by all the mentors to boost up their disciple.
If we were in a popularity contest and not where a true singing talent is discovered, then one show - Indian Idol is enough. SRGMP has brought forth not one - but 12 or more incredible voices during this one year and yet now because of their own bad judgement - they are not even in the forefront as they should have been,
Whether the 3 did it on their own or through a mentors' prompting, it was justified.
Whoever has been listening to all the singers and truly, objectively, believes that Debo deserves to be ranked ahead of the other three and Nihira or Sharib really is fooling himself or herself.
Once allowing voting, then to allow the same person to vote multiple times via SMS (to get SMS revenue I presume) is even more foolish. As Debo even stated on one of the episodes, some of his acquaintances have spent Rs 2000 sending SMS votes for him.

I am just so disappointed and mad right now - it is hard to express..... 😡 😡 😡 Jaykay

totally agree with you! i think ID is quite an honest person and the most emotional and genuin mentor however i think the way that they showed the camera there when debojeet was convincing ID to come back was a bit suspicious and at the end of last weeks episode AS himself said to the public to vote for Debojeet after ID had left, so all these votes Debu got were probably just cause they wanted ID to come back so i think that was wrong on ID's part because we're never going to find a good singer like that. And like the lady in the audience said, its India ki voice not Assam ki voice. im not saying debojeet is bad but i personally feel the rest are better. I think Nihira should be brought back and public voting should be eliminated and real judges should be brought in. Also everyone who keeps saying how Vinit was eliminated before against Debu when Pt. Jasraj was there, that was the PAST--we need a singer whose consistant we cant just say oh he did well that ONE time so lets keep voting for him

and im just voicing my opinion so i really hope no one gets offended.

I feel ID had no motive behind leaving the show except a feeling of loss at Nihira's ouster and AS&HR's low marks to Debo inspite of him giving a great qawalli performance.What happened yesterday was pathetic..dunno why those three did all that 'natak' 😡 I think people are voting for Debo alos becoz of his mentor. ID is impartial and genuine while the others,especially HR is ruining Vineet's chances by his 'dramebaazi'
I want Hema to win and Debo to be the runner-up. They are excellent singers. Vineet's voice quality is not good and Himani...well, i can't stop thinking about Nihira..she's a class apart...
I'll be voting for both Hema and Debo. The other two need to work on their attitudes and then their voices

Actaully as you have know Hema's family has spent several lakhs of rupees to campaign for Hema.

PMahesh is one of the Hema campaigner in silent mode who received pretty good amount to campaign in this neutral forum.In one of Hema's mother interview she told that she has sept in buying cell phone,hire people for sending SMS and have paid people to campaign in internet.

Please dont accuse people of things u cant prove. priti has been here since the early qualifying rounds and has always been one of our fairest reviewers if i may say so. all oldtimers on IF will agree with me that she was probably the one who kept this forum alive before the public voting induced chaos. Do you guys really think that this was not planned? If it was not then why did Gajji made that as an episode and showed on television. The way it was showed it really looked as if it was planned to gain TRP. Must say everyone in SA RE GA MA PA challenge 2005 is a very good actor apart from singer. 👏

Today, I switch my loyalty from Hema(because of your behaviour) to Debojit(because of your awesome singing in the last few episodes) ....

i have not written anything offensive about Hema because he did not say anything....he kept quiet throughout the show...the only time he opened his mouth was to say that he is sorry but they had to do this...and i have mentioned that. I am not a HEMA supporter......this show has been such a drama ......that i never had any favs. And if you notice i have not shown even vinit or himani in poor light- i have just mentioned what they said during the show.

As i have written earlier- i have had no favs during the show.you can imagine from the fact that- even though i have been following this show from the very beginning - i never voted for a single contestant- this show never got me that involved- the singers were never that good.

About Debu's singing last night- i truly felt that he lacked the folk energy and feel in his singing.......

Do you think after so much pressure a person can perform? Not only Debojit but also other three could not have performed well.

I have never supported anyone...and i am sure most of the members here will vouch for my impartial views.....the contestants might have bought cellphones and sent thousands of sms but i am not campaigning for anyone and to even think like this- you got to have dirty mind.....i am shocked!
