Yes there will be a backlash as the very purpose of a competition, team spirit is defeated and Himani in her selfish way has said she does not want to think of Nihira's exit...damn u ...how materialisitic and indifferent are u that the only other girl contestants exit does not affect you to the extent of a pause and a kind word.......voting will tell...time and failure will teach you everything

I don't know what you are reading into this, but to me what she means is that she is focused on what she has to do. It's a competition and her job is to do her best. She has no control over what happens to others and her job is to worry about her performance. That's what is should do. What's this about teamwork? Each individual is here to do his/her best and win this competition. This is NOT a team competition where a team will win. This is an individual competition. No contestant needs to feel guilty/bad about another person's exit. They have nothing to do with it.Their job is to perform their best and that's it.

Why are you people pointing fingers at HIMANI ? As far as I can remember she is the one who shows the most emotion when a contestant gets eliminated ( Raktima , Paresh ) in fact I think that Nihira shows far more PROFFESIONALISM than Himani. Also I have yet to see Vinit show any emotion for any contestant who gets voted out . So I think accusing Himani alone is quite unfair.

That is for sure. But I will be very happy if Vinit and Himani are also eliminated. I hv no interest in watching saregamapa after NIHIRA'S exit. Now I am waiting for the day when Nihira will get Best Playback singer in Filmfare. Mark my words, that day will surely come.

there is a difference in being professional and being cold. She says that Nihira should take it in her own stride and that she (himani) wants to concentrate on herself. Yet she shed a whole lot of tears for other contestants. She was unconsolable when Raktima left. Why this nonchalance towards Nihira. Nihira was far more deserving than Himani and the reamining contestants. At least she could have spoken two sensitive words about Nihira, perhaps then the public backlash would not have taken place on Himani. I am sorry, this statement comes across as very cold blooded. Imagine if she was in Nihira's shoes, would she have taken it as sportingly as she is asking Nihira to take it. No. So why should anyone care about voting for Himani. Let each one be subject to their own fate.

Anyways with the best gone, I don't think that there is any life left in this compt.

Is NIHIRA out??? MY god.I cant bear dis..i have seen lost paresh voted out in the last episode.Well, let me c this thursdays prgm..Then i will decide whether to continue seeing the prgm.If NIHIRA is out, then the show has come to an end for me..welldoesnt matter even if NIHIRA doent win dis coz i know she is really talented and more talented dan any on else in the show,so god will pave her way to one of the best playback singers of INDIA .Iam sure. She dont really need to win dis since the show has lost itz sanctity ever since the commencement of public voting.Talent and Hardwork will never go unrewarded.Who cares if HImany or vineet is gonna win dis rugged competiton.huh! any way HEMu is the best.DEBO is also gud...

I think we Indians have this tendancy to be over sensitive to everything. Perhaps she was very close to Ratima and had bonded with her. I'm guessing she had not bonded with Nihira therefore didn't get emotional about it. That's her right. She does not need to apologize for her feelings. As for backlash, Indians also have a tendancy to find scapegoats. If they have anybody to be upset with, it should be be voting public and NOT the other contestants. If there is a backlash, it only shows how shallow we Indians are. I agree with you that Nihira was the most talented, but she lacked charisma and this is where Himani scored. There is no doubt that Nihira will be extremely successful as a singer, and I also have no doubt that Himani will be successful as well (although in a different way as she does not have the traditional playback singers voice).

It's NOT their fault when someone loses. I hope people DO NOT take your advice. We should want that the best contestants win. That should be the only criteria. Nobody should be voting AGAINST anybody. People should only be voting for someone who is deserving.

I'm very disappointed with all those who advocate favoritism because they are bitter that their favorite lost. They lost, move on and support the next best contestant now!!!!!

Sorry man if people had voted based on talent and performance. Himani would have be long gone and Nihira would still be in the competition.

I agree that Nihira was the most talented amongst the group but I don't agree there will be any negativity towards Himani. She has nothing to do with Nihira's ouster. Please don't perpetuate these negative notions and try to plant seeds of poison in people's minds that somehow this is Himani's fault.

I agree a 100%!
