I think we Indians have this tendancy to be over sensitive to everything. Perhaps she was very close to Ratima and had bonded with her. I'm guessing she had not bonded with Nihira therefore didn't get emotional about it. That's her right. She does not need to apologize for her feelings. As for backlash, Indians also have a tendancy to find scapegoats. If they have anybody to be upset with, it should be be voting public and NOT the other contestants. If there is a backlash, it only shows how shallow we Indians are. I agree with you that Nihira was the most talented, but she lacked charisma and this is where Himani scored. There is no doubt that Nihira will be extremely successful as a singer, and I also have no doubt that Himani will be successful as well (although in a different way as she does not have the traditional playback singers voice).

whether charsima is strictly enough to make a great career in the music industry particulalry the singing dept. one has to wait and see. What I see is that Nihira is already being flooded with offers which have been rare for any other contestants to have to date. Time will tell whether its charisma or talent that speaks.

I agree that in a people oriented profession, like advertising, banking, or movies, charisma counts a great deal as that is strictly needed to make it a success driven profession. But singing is all about sur, taal and nothing else. How well u bond or u don't bond as a person does not matter.

Naushad did not win a filmfare award for half a century. Maybe becasue he did not have that connection with the right channels and the right people, but does that make him anything less in life. No. On the contrary he is a music legend and will remain one.

I am sorry to say that Himani does not have the qulities or the ability to become anything sensational or extraordinary in the music world whereas Nihira is born and endowed with a talent and abilty that will be rare to match. For me that itself makes her very charismatic. I agree that it is not Himani's fault that Nihira is out today. But yes in a sense, most music lovers will have no further interest left in this programme, hence there may simply be no voting from their end.

Having said that voting is being cast from somewhere in one form or the other, whether in a rigged manner or genuine manner. This contest is no longer about the best musical talent or best singer. It is about soemthing else.

I agree that Nihira was the most talented amongst the group but I don't agree there will be any negativity towards Himani. She has nothing to do with Nihira's ouster. Please don't perpetuate these negative notions and try to plant seeds of poison in people's minds that somehow this is Himani's fault.

I agree that it can't be anyones' fault.

If one feels that Nirhira was out becoz of not being able to "dance" on stage....then why did Twinkle get out.??...she had stage presence!!.

We have to chill out and enjoy the show...blaming one contestant for the others' failure is childishness on our part. The janta has been chosen and it is the janta who will decide....after all janta is the one who will make or break the success or failure of songs in the future.

may the best person win...and enjoyt he rest of the show...while voting with an unbiased mind for the BEST singer.....don't please make it another Fame Gurukul!!

Thanx for bearing with me and reading my 2 paise worth....😳

The BEST singer, probably with the most potential after Lata and Asha (Many eminent musicians have said that), just got kicked out because of public ignorance and you are saying May the Best win. I am sorry this show has become a bigger farce already than Fame Gurukul.
The others are good but with the exception of Hema, they are not in the same league.
My 2 cents worth 😊

Then it could be wishful thinking on my part.....:)

With Nihira's exit, and with the assumption that SRGMP is still looking for fresh singing talent, I believe that it is a futile attempt and it is time for the final exit of SRGMP 2005 Challenge along with its so called "Mentors" with the exception of ID!!

Is there any way we can bring back old SRGMP with judges as eminent musical personalities? I believe, this question can be better answered by Gajendra Singh!!
