Hmmmm.....Saregamapa challenge 2005 has moved away from the old format and is now giving importance to performance as well. I am surprised you missed the stage shows they aired. Also the makeovers all these singers got. So, its not just all about playback singing anymore. Mainly so, since they have introduced public voting now.

I guess they have succumbed to the pressures of dealing with other competition like Indian Idol and Fame Gurukul. I do not condone performace. Performing and singing together is also a talent. But I really liked the previous format where the contestants were judged by learned singers/musicians. Maybe in 2006 they will come up with something new - lets see.

The show requires publicity and exposure, so its very logical that there will be makeovers. I myself participated in national tv debates..we had to have some sort of makeovers 😊

But that doesnt mean the hunt is for the best dressed boy or most shaky ass girl!😕

I think nihira deserves to win this one bc she iz versatile and is the only one who has stayed consistent throughout the whole challenge,Saregama should get people who know singing as judges rather than glamour men....the course will change only then....Nihira is the best

Doesn't matter what people think of Himani. I like her voice and I also like her performance. And I consider it really low if people make nasty comments about 17 year old kids on a talent show.

Nihira is extremely talented. But making bad comments about Himani does not make Nihira a Lata overnight.
