I guess Debojit was much better than the likes of Hemachandra, Vinit, Himani and Nihira when he won challenge 2005, he had to be better because he won right? Right? Then why was everyone on this forum all hellbent when Debojit won? It's because there were 4 singers on the show that were better than him that's why, and despite people on this forum knowing it he still won.

On another show that I won't mention, the best performer the first week was also the first one to leave.. but because he finished last at number 13th he's in 13th place in terms of talent by your logic. I guarantee that if the audience had voted in terms of talent, this phenomenal singer would've been in the final 3 as the judges had predicted. Now please dont give me another Ankit response like if he's that phenomenal why haven't music directors signed him yet?

The order contestants are eliminated doesn't prove that the ones that last longer are better... You're an American Ankit, just check out american idol and you'll see that this theory you have is very flawed.

I have read all your posts and agree with some of the points you have raised. Ofcourse Sher Ali is an excellent singer and gave us back to back melodious performances. Unfortunately he has some limitation which he doesn't control. Our guest singers from across the border can only go upto a certain level. It wouldn't be fair for Indian contestants if these guests win the title even if they deserve it as it will be against the ethics and loyalty.

As a matter of fact we have real blood relations to these people who live across the border. Lahor is only 20 miles away from Amritsar. Our last names are similar e.g. Chaudhry, Chauhan, Cheema, Grewal, Gill, Bajwa, Chawla, Barar and so on. I have a couple of friends here and we get along really well.

My son, a student works part time at Business Depot for their technical support. He had a customer last week name Mummed Singh Bajwa. He asked me, "Dad how that kind of name is possible." It took me at least 30 minutes to explain the history behind it.

Having said that, here is a beautiful song, sung by Amanet Ali, lyricist Gulzar sahib and you will see his daughter Boski sitting with judges as a guest.

😃 Jaspal bhai a point that you and some others seem to ignore is that if the Indian audience is so biased, how do these pakistani singers make so much money in India? Nusrat Fateh, Mehndi, Rahat Fateh etc. make more money in INdia then they ever do in Pakistan? so how is the Indian audience biased? Indians support these artists more then their own country does..........

So really you've only answered my question with another question, you really haven't addressed anything. So here it is again in case you forgot to read it or choice not to and instead gave the forum you're great insight. The order contestants are eliminated doesn't prove that the ones that last longer are better... If people's opinions haven't changed since 2005 I can guarantee that the majority of people on this forum will tell you that Debojit's victory over Vinit, Hemachandra, Himani and Nihira wasn't right considering that the 4 mentioned were better than him...Not my opinion, but the opinion of judges and guests that season, and their marks can back this statement up.

As far as your judgemental approach to Ali Sher goes, there's a right way and a wrong way to wish someone success. You're statements like him singing on a train are very tasteless and unclassy. Maybe you're the one that has growing up to do. Accusing a man of crying on purpose to gather votes is very cheap.

And as far as his future goes, we wish him all the very best in his life, which we hope is full of lots of success. Maybe you should practice what you preach and eat some humble pie while you're at it.
