Voice modulation is not changing one's voice tonal quality.It is changing the sharpness and softness of the voice depending upon the mood of the song. Have you heard the difference in voice of Kishore Kumar when he sings "Chhoon kar mere man ko" and "Jahan teri ye nazar hai".this is called voice modulation.

I can only pity you at your interpretation. Are you still in doubt about Sniti's original voice quality ?

thanks. i was under impression that moduleates means murkian or harkats!!!!! but my question remain the same whether big heroines will like their songs in this unique voice????

she has voiced for all katrinas and priyankas as well in the past movies....she has done a lot of play back singing...

IMHO, the song exposed the limitation in Siniti's singing especially diction&clarity because the song required very clear pronunciation and feel with many a 'Z', 'S', and 'Sh'. Hence Vishal Bharadwaj's choice for her( if it was someone else not knowledgable in music then 😕) - is an area where she clearly needs to improve.

Sniti is a very good singer. I like her humility. Although she has a very unique voice, I am afraid to say it will not suit a Priyanka, or Katrina or Kareena on screen singing(playback).

When I listen scores of hindi songs I hardly remember lyrics of all of them. I get pleasure from the tune of the songs and the singer's execution of the songs and voice.. For scores of average listeners like me this is what matter. But for some people sh, s, z, h, etc. matter . When Sniti sings I can clearly listen and also write what words she says. But pronunciation can vary if one's mother tongue is not hindi. Like Westerners can listen to our English pronunciation and say we have diction problem of English.

Another one was Vishal Bharadwaj....what in the world he thought to give her a song like Tere bina zindagi se koi....simply out of blue and unmatched, and then the verdict he gave her tht it takes time for her singing to reach at heart........🤢🤢🤢 jab aap gaana hi aisa doge...

had he given her a Thumri......or a raag song she would have taken it to new herights😃

Yep, anyway Vishal ji has toned down but I did not like the way he whacked Sher Ali.

Sniti's voice suits a speciality song in the background and she will excel in that. Her singing... 'Tere BIna Zindagi se koi'..could not come up to be very impressive.

I think if Atif Aslam's voice can suit an actor like Ranbir then, Sniti voice can suit any actor. Gone are the days when only a voice like Kishore/Rafi/Sonu/Udit or Lata/Asha/Sunidhi/Alka were suited for playback singing. We have heard such a multitude of different singers that there is a lot more acceptance of different singers. People realize that the actors are not singing the song and are more tolerant of the singer's voice. It has to suit the song though.
