fit to be a judge?- a resounding NO

what is he doing on this show along with Vishal-- promoting themselves and their music and awaaz😃

😆😆😆

as far as mentors go, I think they have really helped Sugandha stand out - there has to be a lot of work/advise that they have given her behind the scenes and it shows.
I never even noticed her. But I did notice Abhilasha and the other female singers that got eliminated. They must have given her some tips on how to perform. She has improved so much.
When the groups were first announced, I thought that Vishal-shekhar did not have as many good singers as say Daler paji. But Vishal-shekhar have done so well with what they have - it is amazing - Kamal and Sugandha. I think they are behind the success of these two.

Yes I agree Summer,
Loved his gesture of motivating Ali Sher.
that is what a mentor should be, supportive, explain mistakes in a dignified manner, and motivational.👏👏

Yes better than the hot tempered guy, he should have advised before the contest.
Voices like Sher Ali is not suited for certain songs I think.
He sang in his own voice and style but this song Tadap Tadap needs a very soft touch.

Very honestly Summer, I think one should always applaud someones efforts. The contestants deserve respect, unless they themselves care about nothing and indulge in cheap behaviour......even then one should not loose ones objectivity whilst commenting.
I always feel its very fashionable and nice to say movies like Taare Zameen Par are great. That what a way to teach kids or interact with everyone, and put forth ones points gently.
But how many of us practice it in our real lives??😳😳
We like to make fun or give condesending comments, and the current mentors are no exception......
when all that we should be actually doing is just stick to the objective part of it.
Sure Shekhar has his own points to improve, like there are times he gets emotional. But there is no denying that he is the most dignified of the mentor panel.

Yes Kasturi you are right.
There should be some amount of courtesy, it is not Ali's fault if the song that was pushed to him was not suitable.
He can only give his best.

it was not gesture of motivating Ali Sher, it was out of guilt to come on to stage and hug sher ali to compensate his partner misbehaviour with sher ali. thats is diplomacy. shame on v/s.

^^ yes, shekhar was guilty about vishal's behavior, and he hugged ali sher to encourage him. why say shame on both of them?

i agree though if vishal was soooo unhappy with ali's singing, why did he let him sing that song in the first place????
