Well, Smiti definitely will be remebered for her unique voice. Even AR Rahman acknowleged that but he also pointed out that her pitching is all over the place. Even after so many performances doubts do linger whether she is any way a versatile singer or not !!! Just voice quality and having a classical base does not qualify her to be effectively versatile.

Khurram/Bisakh should be eliminated this week.

Person like you who takes into account haricut style in determining who a good singer is, has absolutely no rights to preach others about what a good background in music means. Trust me, given your approach Lata Mangeshkar would not have qualified as a good singer, but good thing is there are others who decide a good singer on based on ... yes, singing qualities and not hairstyle :)

It could just be that you don't like her voice, but that's about it. Speak for yourself - don't try to impose your judgment on others and label them as idiots. If that does not make sense to you, it simply shows you need to grow (mentally).
