Totally agree it was the worst performance of the day. Sriram of Indian Idol was so toooo good in this song, that got tears in Sanjay's eyes.

Actually it looked like fierce competition between Fareed and Khurram.. Fareed since its his first full fledged perf.. wanted to show his skills.. cos Khurram is also "supposed" to be good with Sufis.. so may be Fareed wanted to show whos the boss..

Khurram on the other had wanted to show he is senior in competition..

What was missing is "gayki with sukoon".. this song is supposed to be sang with closed eyes with god in mind.. but it was sung with one eye towards golmaal team and one towards each other..

Altho performance wise Khurram consistent besura singing spoiled the whole divinity of the song...He has not excuse since he has been in show for so long and got adjusted to singing with all this loud music arnd him..

Fareed , i think shuld relax.. he is feeling tense cos he has very little time in show to prove himself... adjust to band playing music.. etc
He wil get better with individual songs...

Bet, if Fareed had sung this song alone, wud have been faaar better.

Ali Sher and Khurram shud be the next on the chopping block. Any other person rejected for these ppl will mean 'injustice unlimited' to faar better singers.. Already show has 'kurbaan'ed talented singers like Mugdha for ordinary singers.
