Yesterday Fareed and Khurram sang and murdered the beautiful songs Piya Haji Ali and Khwaja meren Khwaja.

The feel which is generated by a performance on these songs was not there at all.

Khurram is as usual out of sur from the word go.Each and every word he sings is breaking in almost all performances. He needs heavy Riyaaz to become a good singer.

Fareed may be technically correct but was trying to over do his classical base and so murdered the song.

This shows us you may be technically strong singer but singing with feel is another thing.

Well I disagree, it is Khurram who is to be blamed, is this time in the competition to sing out of scale?

Fareed was still quite fine, pls post the song or I'll when time permits.

I agree overall effect got marred but Far eed was standing out in his individual sargam & layakari.

May I ask why was fareed not given an individual performance why this step motherly Rx?

These songs have to be sung with stress on each and every word according to the lyrics. Not only Khurram but Fareed also murdered the song when he was singing his part

It really pains me to write this.😭

I was really looking forward to fareed on this show.😊

yesterday was a major disappoinment.

This was the worst performance of khwaja mere khawaja and piya haji ali, i have heard across all the shows.😭

why blame khurram only. Khurram started off well.it was straight downhill after the first line.

I did not expect too much from him and he did not disappoint😃

Fareed should have nailed these songs. it was just down his galli. 😊

why did he not?😕

two reasons.

First he was just not comfortable in a duet. his nervous darting looks towards khurram said it all.

They had not practised together, it was obvious.😃

secondly,

Fareed over did it. He wanted to prove something. His fantastic basics? I agree.

For these songs? no need.

In trying to prove, he lost the feel , the soul which was integral for these songs.

overall, the songs slid into disaster, without any effort.😳

Fareed should learn to be a smart singer on this show.

Like sniti.

She knows exactly, when to shoot the bullet and when to bite.👏

her performances have been measured, not over the top.👏

I still beleive it was Khurram who started killing ths song, Fareed couldn't control it then. It remonded me of contestant called Paresh who was a pleasant guy from London in C2005. His 2 renditions (AFAIR) were out of scale.

it is diff to be besura and it is diff to be out of scale (+besura)
