Round 2: Udit Narayan

simple soft beautiful number. easy to sing

Its good to hear UN's softer side after a long time. But this track is not without flaws. Its not bad but there are some many more positives.

The start is shaky and the tonal quality is below par. Looks like a mishmashed beginning, but he picks up in a steady manner. Throughout, the scale is flat and this hampers his voice a lot. Clarity is inconsistent and SG does a much much better job in this track. The tunes are quite good, but that 8:19 duration of the track is the single biggest deterrent. It promises to get better in the second half, but flat singing takes it downhill. UN's voice gets boring and monotonous at the same time. The end he sounds better with some lifts to his tone and scale of singing.

Some more clarity would have been welcome but being a soft romantic track, the feel is there, even though some polish was needed. Again, the tune for a new film sounds dated and nothing unique to offer.

Its a decent OK singing, not bad, but not the best either. Luck will play a role here.

Let's be honest here. Udit Narayan isn't what he used to be. And it's evident here. He lost voice quality in his low notes, and overall, throughout the song he was lacking the voice he once had.

He didn't have the range he did in his prime, and overall ability had fallen. Nonetheless, there was still some Udit in this song and he still did a solid job even though he is clearly out of his prime here.


Overall, above average, it is Udit Narayan after all, but he is sounding old in this song.

Honestly speaking I never came across this song before. After listening to it I can say I did like the Udits soft voice in the song, the songs slow pace is what makes it boring in between.

this is what suit Uditji a slow and smooth song.
it is more like gazals type but i realy like it as it is expected as always form him soo
as this is his new style so i like it a lot something new we all have heard

i like the song and some lines are too good i think.
but as this types of songs are not taken by anyone but its really a good try i loved it

as many said that start was shaky i dont find it i think its perfect but its there POW so cant comment on that but i like the song only few places the fulling and taking mistake was there but its okk over all a good once and like it a lot
