Hemachandra chose a difficult song

My opinion only.......

It is very important to select the right song for stage shows.
I think Hema's selection of song ( Bachna e hasino) was incorrect choice. Kishore da has sung this song and his voice was very thick with very superior tonal quality.
Unless someone has this voice quality he shouldn't attempt such songs.
For that matter we can see that whoever tried to sing Kishore da's song ended in disaster, examples:

1.Saptak :'ye jawani': got eliminated

2.Debo : Rimjhin gire sawan: saw Rajiv getting selected over him: AS commented, it sounded as if mukhda was sung by Kishore alike & antara by Debo

3.Hema: Bachna E hasino... we all know.

4. Rajiv: Roop tera mastana( I've not seen in UK) but people present on show told he was unimpressive.......

I think AS's guidance is vital at this point, he is very experienced and seasoned.

Very true. But AS the great does not have time. If he can invest half of as much as HR does on Vinit, we will see amazing results.

I agree. Ideally contestants should avoid Kishoreda's songs. When Saptak sang Kishoreda's songs mentors said he was trying to imitate Kishore's voice and lacked originality. Then in a later episode Rajeev was chosen over two other contestants (Debojit and Irfan I think) saying that the other two did not sing the song in Kishoreda style...only Rajeev's song had Kishoreda's flavour. No one can really do full justice to Kishoreda's songs and mentors will definitely pick on it to knock off some points.

I'm not very sure....that's why I edited that part, I want to embark on fact that selection of right song is very important

It is impossible to duplicate Kishoreda's voice,

Singers select it then seek OK from mentor.
