It is very important to select the right song for stage shows.
I think Hema's selection of song ( Bachna e hasino) was incorrect choice. Kishore da has sung this song and his voice was very thick with very superior tonal quality.

But R D Burman used Kishore for most of songs, so it is likely that in RD special one will go for Kishore's song.

There are some very good songs of Pancham sung by Suresh Wadekar(I think Hema's voice will suit them very well, isn't it?

no idea, which song ae you talking of?

Dunno abt Kishore Kumar's songs but Hema has chosen some tough songs...its not really easy to sing any song and do complete justice to the song and the singer...Be it Eh AJNABI or the most recent shaadi song ...if u really do think twice, those songs are difficult to sing...its juz that the dude sings them with such ease that one forgets that hez juz a 17 yr old aspirant tryin to do justice to the songs of professional singers...and pplz expectations simply go beyond the roof...In my honest opinion, hema is an excellent baritone n his voice quality is simply incomparable to the others...I hope n pray that he get all that he deserves... HEMA KI JAI HO;)

I saw the episode for which Nihira and Hema got the lowest. Wer they not the least impressive on that day ? Nihira sand "Saawan ke Jhole" like a bhajan.....not sure which song did Hema sing but that again was so very unimpressive as compared to other singers. I think it was Bachna E Hasino which almost eliminated Haema, this guy has potential, but he is too young for right song selection & needs suggestion to know what would impress people, AS's guidance is vital here.

Dear Candy

I do agree he is a good singer but remember it is not often the difficult song which gives you the cutting edge but it is the song which connects with people. It takes many years for a singer to mature & deliver with ease, hence guidance is must here.
