Don't have answers to y our question mind google.

AFAIK This show was supposed to be hosted by Aditya Narayana but trying hard his luck in films he couldn't agree.

Hence Kohli was selected at last moment.

Shaan and Sonu was very good
But I like non-musical hosts too like Hussain or Mini
I think Purab will fare well too

Let's see what happens. The host's role in the show hasn't really come out yet, it will by today, I guess. Then we can see more of him and how he conducts himself. So far, I feel he's been been average

I was also thinking abt Sugandha Mishra as a host...She could do fab job...She is a great singer, funny, and beautiful personality...That is what is needed in a host...Plain singer would not do proper justice IMHO...
I would give Purab a chance...Everyone needs time to get set and gell with the hosting job...Over the period of time we start accepting and liking a new host...Sonu>SHan>Aditya...All have proven themselves...
I will give Purab a chance and see how he fairs...
I loved Manish as a host of DID LM...Best host so far...

VP has been my most favourite of all SRGM/P contestants thus far, as I've often declared on this forum.

Its too early to comment about the host, but Purab has been very nice in the shows hosted on MTV... Purab has a good sense of music... but, its very difficult to replace Sonu Nigam...

Why should we have a musical host for musical show? Do they sing on the show? Do they give their opinion on performance? If they give where does their output stand? I did not see the musical knowledge of musical host being ever used on the stage after Sonu Nigam.
I will prefer a host who can connect with public, contestant and judges well, must have stage presence, dekhne mein acha lage, thora mazaak kar le and should bring something from himself instead of delivering only written dialogue.
I loved Manish as host, he was not lost in the show.

Agree with you. If sugandha was not a contestant she would have been a wonderful host for the show.

Who is VP? I hope he is not robotic personality on stage. Show has evolved a lot. Ab to naam bhi change ho gaya.

When It comes to Purab kohli as host I wont characterise him into good or bad. According to me he is the okay types. He lacks the type of charm which a host needs.
And sorry to disagree but I dont feel a singer only is needed to host a singing show because good hosts like Hussain, Mini, or even Manish were a great to watch, though they were not singers themselves, they have a kind of natural charm. Even DID hosts Jai & Soumya were not dancers themselve but they were superb when it came to hosting DID.
