While it is too early to comment on HIM I always feel the host of a musical programme of SRGM order should be singer himself. Not that others can't do this but being a singer will add extra zing to the job.

May be that is the reason why Sonu Nigam is still remembered as one of the best hosts on SRGM.
I liked job of Shaan as well as host.

how about replacing Kohli with Shaan/KK or Vijay Prakash. Last heard VP is writing lyrics and story as well..!

Not every singer can host. But I agree a host with good musical knowledge is best.

Sonu is very special I think and hard to find such a replacement

Vijay prakash seems an interesting choice.Shaan and Sonu were the best.Purab Kohli may bring a different andaaz to the show. will have to wait and watch. 😊

Raja, Debu and other SRGMP singers have acted as hosts and it has not been so successful. Perhaps given time they can be very good too.

kk doesn't like reality shows, after fame gurukul, so no chance of him being host, but he would do a splendid job :D

Does Vijay Prakash speak Hindi well? Does he have the gift of the gab? Is he witty too?

VP has been my most favourite of all SRGM/P contestants thus far, as I've often declared on this forum.
