@Baz - g'night! :)

@Joe: I don't know the different between complete morality and incompletely morality, but I do think that morality is concrete - and if you look deep enough, you can find it in any day and age regardless of how immoral society around you is or isn't.

Hahah, GD will drag us with our ears and force us to make up. 😆 But we know better than to let petty debates come in the way. ;)

Drool time. DID tomorrow! Jaane Terrence ko maine kabse nahi dekha. 😍

Upset is the wrong word, I would say. I would say, I am taken aback by it at times. Not in the negative sense. You know, I have actually always admired your traditional moral views and how you put them forth too. I've told that to you. And I think you pretend to be controlling, to keep away the riff raff. You are softer and more accepting than you think.

Of course yes. Terence time. 😊

Do the judges dance tomorrow?

🤗 only time will tell i guess. my parents tell me i'm too bossy and controlling for my own good. and i need to fix that because no one in their right mind will put up with that. 😆

I don't know, do they? Its my first time. But who cares - at least he'll be there. 😳 I like watching him in the turbans. 😍

Morality is just the perception of right and wrong. There can really be no complete or incomplete or absolute morality, but differing views on morality. Everyone is moral and tries to be moral in their own way.

Even when we have two contrasting morals, liberal and conservative. There is still a basic core value of greater good or benefit for society in general. In the debate concerning po*n. One may feel po*n is immoral or allowable. The one the feels po*n is immoral will show po*n as detrimental to society, and the other side will try to prove it is not so. However, neither sides want something that is genuinely detrimental to society. There in lies a core common value.

The thing to be realized with debates is that, everyone has an opinion and they will defend it with all their might. If it's a debate competition and if it's being judged, someone will walk away the winner. It doesn't mean that the winner is a true winner; it just means that the winner convinced a couple of people supervising the debate. It just means that the winner found a few more supporters for his subjectivity. If it's an open forum like this one, it's much harder to declare a winner. Each one is entitled to think that they are the winners.

If it's less about winning the debate and more about convincing the others, that too is a futile exercise. In my experience, I have found people to be extremely stubborn and extremely rigid in their belief systems. They don't sway easily.

So, before I express any opinion, now-a-days I ask myself one simple question – what do I realistically expect to get out of this? 99.99% of the time, the answer comes back as "nothing".
