if u think I m rude. I was saying what I thought about Vinit. Specially I am very very curious about the Vinit-Himesh relationship. I read in an indian newspaper that the relationship between them is much more(?) than Guru sishya. It might be just a rumour or yellow journalism. But the way Himesh acts in Sa re ga ma pa looks like to him Vinit is much more (?) than a sishya. And nothing wrong if somebdoy is gay or lesbian...it is a personal choice. So even if he is, it is not a bad thing. Keep it up Vinit and Himesh, both of you are REAL entertainer. This Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is much more than WWW

I can't say about HR/VINIT, but I have doubt about you.

SaReGa, As far as I know, India has 28 states, where did u get 20 more states in India? Boy, you do need a few beatings on ur back for missing those GK classes... 😡 😡

Good Luck India, if you have guys like this commenting about one of India's best musical competition... future is very bleak... 🤢

EXCUSE ME...BUT UR BIASED EYES & EARS COULD NOT CHECK IT PROPERLY. IT WAS NOT VINIT'S FATHER BUT THAT YOUR ASSAMESE LADY WHO WAS BAD MOUTHING VINIT ...."bloody apne aap ko Md.Rafi samajhta hai..." VINIT'S FATHER JUST TRIED TO STOP HER BAD AND ILL MANNERED SHOUTING. THERE VINIT'S MOTHER EVN ASKED HIM ....aap rehne dijiye, ise to baat karne ki tameez nahi..." !! SO MY DEAR DEBO'S FAN. GO AND CHECK OUT THE FACTS THEN SAY SOMTHING.

yea i heard soemthing along the lines of she saying soemthing and then his father turned around and said soemthing .. obviously she must have provoked him .. and by the looks of his aparents they are pretty simple ... man like look at his mother .. if she was cunning .. her facial expressions would be different ... anddid u not see how she ran into the room and hugged debo.. and debo says he forgives them .. well bviously he says he forgives them ... but is he really forgiving them .. and how come everyones going against vinit ... what did he say ... he got second place he was still risking it and walking out of the contest ... obviously something provoked them .. maybe ill behaviour like this was happenignat where they were staying as well ... i mean there must have been something

anyway basically i wanted to say i agree with lol .. u know the saying tali ek haath se nahin bajthi ... she must have said something to make his father jump like that

You must be a member of G & L community. Nothing wrong but watch the video more carefully and shame on you, you have not gone to eye doctors lately. It is very clear that Vinit's father said bad words to a lady. The whole India was watching the rude behavior of Vinit's father and they know what to do in the next voting. Just wait and see.

I have been watching the programme since Sonu was hosting. Thanks to Ganjendra Singh for the excellent direction/production which is truly feeling our hearts for all time.

The dramatic development in the last two episodes of SAREGAMAPA, where the 3 contestants jumped to the stage to voice against Debojit..is a planned
step and I strongly believe…the 3 young contestents were mis-guided by someone(s)…and who they could be one can easily assess..! It's really shocking to see the young contestants became victim of their politics and personal gains and ultimately the 3 have made a costly loss of confidence and love from public.
At the same time, this had helped Debojit to secure additional votes from public out of sympathy.

I consider the final 5 contestents ( Nihira, Himani, Hemchandra,Debojit, Vinit) are all very high standard singers/performers.

We like to request Ganjendra Singh to invite all 5 contestents on a special show after the closure of Challenge 2005 (without the mentors…!!!!) and to be judged by invited panel of Judges to declare the winner and 2 runners up.

Best wishes.

I think Vinit is a good singer. However because of HR's behaviour, chances are that Vinit may not win.

Jus'Talking : The wrong tune of a talent contest
Samrat Choudhary
New Delhi, January 21, 2006

A voice from Assam can be the voice of India as much as a voice from Delhi or Mumbai or Chennai

TV these days is so full of low-quality drama that I've given up watching it. A saas or a bahu occasionally registers fleetingly on my TV screen and my consciousness.

Apart from that there are those equally interminable 'talent hunts'. These compete with WWE in their style of building up rivalries and contests. Singers deliver dialogues in the manner of Batista meeting John Cena.

It's all too melodramatic to bear, but apparently it works with most of my country cousins. Now one of these shows, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV, has finally neared its finale. The mode of selection of these contestants was mainly by viewers poll on phone and SMS.

The first contestant who made it to the round of three is Debojit from Assam. He suddenly found himself facing a rebellion from his fellow-contestants, who threatened to walk out of the event without explicitly stating why. I would have changed the channel at all this natak but a statement by one of the 'mentors' in the show stopped me.

Debojit got 80 percent of his votes from Assam, Adesh Shrivastava said. "We want a voice of India, not a voice of Assam", someone in the studio shouted. Fair enough. Except that, firstly, the fellow had polled more votes than other prospective 'voices of India', and secondly, Assam is still despite its several insurgencies a part of India.

A voice from Assam can be the voice of India as much as a voice from Delhi or Mumbai or Chennai. For the past few centuries, the West has dominated the world. So their perceptions of what is 'mainstream' have come to dominate globally.

Today we all speak English, listen to pop and rock, pride ourselves on our knowledge of Hollywood and European soccer, and of course dress in jeans and skirts and such likes. However, the point to note is that the average college or school student in America doesn't know Hindi, or listen to Indian music, or follow cricket, or know who Amitabh Bachchan is.

When Big B was voted the greatest star of stage or screen in a BBC online poll in 1999, there was considerable consternation in the West. The thing that went around then was that India, with its huge population, had voted for Big B and so he won there was no way he could be better than the best of the West.

Which may be true. If the world accepts the definition of what is 'good' cinema. Unfortunately, for me, a song from Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan is better cinema than an hour of Gone With the Wind simply because I enjoy it more. So there are these disparities in the world.

The artists will treat non-artists as charlatans if we try their game. The West will be miffed if our man wins a global award over their icons. Their sense of domination will get jolted. Now think of how the 'centre' treats the periphery in India. If you don't speak Hindi, don't listen to Bollywood music, don't care about cricket, you're an outsider already.

If on top of that you look different say, Mongoloid your status as second-class citizen is almost confirmed. That's the way life is for many people from the Northeast who come to 'mainland India'.

They can either become duplicates of the 'mainstream' people or stay in their ghettoes. And even if they do adopt 'mainstream' ways, the story doesn't always end happily.

Like Debojit, for example, who sings in Hindi, but must now contend with the fact that his support base is from the Northeast and not the cow belt, which is the 'mainstream' merely because it sends more crooks to Parliament.

The Hero Honda Sa re Ga ma is heading for a great ending. Its going to be a real musical MAHA YUDH now.

We as a viewer can just say that all the contestants are just terrific.Their performance are mind blowing. But I feel sad for what had happened in a prestigious competetion like this one. This is an International show watched globally and had always maintained its standard. However, it has started deteriorating.

Music composers of Reshamiya's class should not much concentrate on a singer's personnel life .He is just downgrading the show by being openly partial to only one competitor from his Gharana and using childish tactics to win vote for his favorite student.Vinit sings well but those others are also too good.We dont think that vinit is the best. Let him compete. How can one declare without competing.Way to go Mr. Reshamiya.Noone can win that way.You should know that very well.

And Mr A. Shrivastava, whats about surprising so much while a contestant is getting more votes from his native state??
Would you please explain? You are much more matured person man! Think before giving any sensitive comments like this one.Hemachandra's father was confident about whole of South India madly votting for his son. Also, Paresh's mother in law made a comment about all Kutchi community voting for Paresh. Then why cant that guy get more number of votes from his state?? So please think a lot before giving such stupid comments.A contestant always expect more votes from his state.

We love Ismail Darbarji most as he always gives full marks to the contestants no matter whose Gharanas they belongs to.We have even seen him praising the singers of other Gharanas so many times. While other mentors comments or marks are not that satisfactory.Twinkled performed so well before leaving. But she was given poor marks by Reshamiya. And when he was asked the reason for that he had no specific answer.Whats this?

In yesterday's controvertial episode, someone even told that that was not the voice of the state that the contestant (who got max votes) belongs. She told that its India's voice.Madam, I think you dont know that that state is also belongs to India. And HR and AS's reaction over that comment just degrades their personality. That state is also belong to India Mr Reshamiya and Mr. Shrivastava!!

Shaan's presence is great. He is really good in sutradhar's role.

I think, it's time now that somebody renowned in the industry should be asked to judge the final episodes and assist in selecting the best singer.

I hope my comments are not going to deaf ears and would like to see some changes in the system.
