Ahh, I'm supposed to be studying for my Orgo exam tomorrow. I even took off from work to study, and look where that's brought me. Anyways, here in Houston, its been raining all day and all night. Its beautiful if you ask me. I was driving home from school (no, no, not another accident ... thank God š) and it started raining so heavily. I hate driving in the rain. Came home and had to drop my brother off somewhere .... so had to go drive in the rain again. On my way back, I realized my gas tank was shining E. God, I'm so crazy ... can't we keep track of the amount of gas in my car. š Stopped at the gas station near my house --- realized I didn't have my credit card on me and had to go inside to pay cash. Running from my car to inside the store, I was soaked from top to bottom. I LOVE getting wet in the rain. The guy at the register was desi, I handed him the money and he asked me if I was desi, I said yeah. Then he asked me my name .... I looked at him and said excuse me? my name? He said "you see, I from Nepal, and we both desi, so we know each other that why I ask" ... I said uh-hun and walked out, I did manage a "nice to meet you" ... when he said his name was Yuvraaj. Think I was being too mean? Hmm ... Nah, I hate when people act like that. Oh boy, look where I'm going with this. šš
Sorry, didn't mean to divert .... okay, so running from the store to my car, I realized how much fun baarish is. I want to go outside and play in the rain.
So I decided to make a topic full of our favorite rain songs. My all-time favorite is "ghore jaisi chaal, haathi jaisi dum, oh saawan raja, kahan se aaye tum" šš ... you know from Dil Toh Pagal Hai "Koi larki hai jab wo hasti hai, baarish hoti hai sun-un sun-un sun-sun"
