She chose her own battle and now she needs to fight it. Yes she has to face her own actions...We don't know the real reason behind her suicide attempt, her relationship with ID or anyone else for that matter is pure speculation. Only ID's name is brought up in this news....why not anyone else...Got to be some reason for this...Media will not take such a huge risk at being sued for defamation of character....
This world also has nice people, hope she can learn how to associate with them and ignore the bad breed.

I guess her neighbors are very narrow minded conservative people and most likely not very educated either....Can't expect a whole lot of support from those I guess....

I am not going to speculate if there was an affair or not because we simply don't know yet, but hearing the news of her attempted suicide deeply saddened me. Erased unrelated content.
And I hope that she gets some type of help, someone who can truly help her deal with what seems to be deep psychological problems.

As someone who has spent a brief part of her life in U.P. (both parents from there), I am not surprised to hear her neighbor's comments. Going back during the summers, I had to be reminded if I was going to even dare to wear a long T-shirt and pants that I had to wear a dupatta over it or with a salwar kameez never to walk outside without a dupatta. And it was a place of about 400,000 people and a major university town, but I guess that is how some places are.

Whoa aap waqaimein U.P. kih baat kurr rahi hain? U.P.? Uttar Pradesh, India and not Afghanistan?

The media tends to write rubbish most of the time and in certain incidents, they tend to exaggerate the facts. Remember, that her affair with Ismail is only known as a rumour for know and not a fact.

I totally agree with you. I had heard some romours about a mentor in junoon musical show also. there the participant in question and Poonam are young adults. hopefully they can distinguish right from wrong. at the same time, a beoken promise may break hearts permamnetly. we cannot absolve the mentor of all guilt.
SEecondly, today the above 18 generation is very smart. vulnerable, but they know what thye want. o if it happens to somone above 18 or 21 yrs, we cannot blame it on parents for not supporting them. Poonam, sumedha, pryani, sumitra, arshpreet, torsha, tullika and naina saxena are all young women. they can make choices hopefully for themslves.
Thirdly, the economin background. women like poonam, vaishali, shini, geeetashri of chote ustaad are not from well off familires. they can get exploited easily. they believe in false promises and give in to pressure. you cannot blam ethem. subjectivities differ,of course.

Such a sad news. I am shocked but not very surprised. I hope Poonam recovers ASAP.

What about the Junoon musical show? CAn someone pls PM me?
