Mintyblue: I do agree with you and have mentioned that the after effect is something Poonam will have to deal with because she chose it and is an adult who can difference out between right and wrong. At the same time, we do not know the exact truth and from the looks of it we actually might never know unfortunately.

I saw a few interviews on various Indian channels of folks that live around Poonam's home, and who have known her for years. The one thing that everyone kept pointing out was that, "Bumbai janey seh pehelay Poonam hamesh shalwar kudta pehenti thi. Waha seh wapis aa keh woh jyadaturr jeans aur chotey kameez pehenney lagi hain.

These people are conservative and unfortunately they seem to only remember her new avatar and not what she used to be. Given this, life is not going to be easy for her around those folks. I hope I am wrong and that her neighbors help her recover rather than be the typical biradariwaleh that the Bollywood movies show time and time again.

yup ! but actually such people besides being conservative, can generally be narrow minded, and that isn't a fruitful combination unfortunately

Rubbish😡, I hate the Indian media.

She chose her own battle and now she needs to fight it. We don't know the real reason behind her suicide attempt, her relationship with ID or anyone else for that matter is pure speculation.

This world also has nice people, hope she can learn how to associate with them and ignore the bad breed.

UGHHH!!!!! I hate those kinda people (poonam's neighbors) who kick people when they're down😡, which is not helping Poonam's well-being AT ALL😡!!!!!
Poor girl must be thinking that her life was better before taking part in the show!!!! This yellow journalism get's on my nerves like anything. They're adding problems by blowing this ID affair out of proportion to Poonam's already depressing life to sell their newspapers!!!!!!!😡

yes i think the humiliation was what caused her to end her life.
