Before Debojit Dutta's performance Pritam suggested Debojit had a type of an autism.

My friends and me were discussing this and watching the show this evening and one of my friends ( the cynic) thought it was a gimmick of some sort to gain audience sympathy so that they vote for Debojit and its all a ZeeTV trick. This friend of mine believes a lot of SRGMP is staged by the channel ( including all the Asma parts) to gain TRPs.🤢

I really dont know - cant make out because Debojit is a little bit weird but is he autistic ?

If yes then his ability to reach here itself is an amazing achievement. 😊 If not then what level will people stoop to ? What do you is he just weird or autistic ? Please post your views.

like pritam says its definitely a type of autism. there is a certain difference in his body language. the king states tht its definitely not an act. the king applauds debo n his parents. not many parents can guide such kids as fantastically as they have done.

the bottomline the king draws is tht debo needs a round of applause.

I don't think thats a gimmick, he looks like having some sort of disability, however his singing is amazing, autistic or not.

Autism comes in different forms. Having studied and worked with Autistic kids sometimes its easy to tell if someone has autism, other times they only have subtle effects. I didn't know Debo was autistic, but it does explain, him not being able to look up and sing, or look at people, also his repetivive actions. Autistic children someonetime channel their creativity, in this case Debo loves music.

I hope this is not a gimmick. But if Debo has autism, I applaud him for all his efforts, it is not easy to get infront of all those people week after week. Even if he does not win, he should be happy for all that he accomplished. After working with many autistic children, I am happy that there is always hope for them to accomplish their dreams. Because no matter what they have, they have dreams just like the rest of us.

Debojit Dutta sure is Autistic...He does have special needs....Just For that he should be applauded for taking part in this contest and coming this far...now Should he be in this contest???? NO IMHO...
He should be in a contest with kids or adults with similar handicap or special needs...He probably would or could win...
I don't think he is faking it or a gimick....Pls do not say that...
Along with him being Autistic he has huge Lisp which is something else he needs theraphy-speech therapy....
I wish judges would not over hype him and give false hopes...

hmmm 🤔 but one lands up thinking you know - today was the Taare Zameen Par episode, Yashita also spoke about her brother who is special and was put into the boarding school, and why bring out Debojit's disability now why not earlier in the other episodes ? just food for thought

It may that he's not Autistic, but he most definitely has a disability, and that's no pretense.

Debo being special was brought up long back in initial episodes...so it is not something new....May be you did not see that episode...

Thanks I did not actually see that episode. Any idea which one it was ? That changes the whole view. If they had already said he was autistic before then surely it cant be a gimmick
