Wether Jeffrey deserved to be eliminated or not, i think he at least deserved not to have his song edited the way it was. His tere bina from Guru was clipped in many places where he added his own twist to the song, and they cut the remainder of the sargams out (Which you can hear if you listen carefully), which he nailed perfectly. Sanjivani was the same thing. They cut the antara, which was the majority of the song... Being eliminated is one thing, but at lease they should show the public the work that he put into the songs by not cutting the portions which take the song to another level... I think Jeffrey could have had made vast improvements over the course of the competition. I think so because he's a self taught singer and with guidance, he could have improved on those imperfections.

In all fairness Jeffrey sang the best in the Sanjivani round. He sounded very clear and good. Sashi somehow seemed a bit nasal and did not have the fire. Jeffrey should definitely be in.

This whole round was somewhat of a farce, in that Shashi shouldn't have been there at all, but rather either Debojit or Tarun, against whom both Rashi and Jeffrey would have stood a better chance.

There should be more places given to the gents compared to the ladies as there are far more better male singers compared to the ladies.

That's debatable. I think. What seems less controversial, however, is that the higher pitch of women's voices makes flaws (especially in sur) much more easily noticeable.

I did think it was strange too, it seemed like his singing was cut short or there were lots of changes made that he couldn't show much singing ability. I agree with the comment one made that shashi shouldn't have been there in the first place, then maybe jeffrey would have had a better chance. Maybe that batch of singers just had a really tough group.
Oh well, in the end there will only be one winner. it's just a shame that he had to go out so early, he probably represented the international contestants the best. I definitely commend his spirit and attitude. The way he behaved and accepted the result... no anger, crying, or melodramatic stuff (what happens quite often)... is an example for the rest of the contestants. He'll definitely go far inshAllah.

No, he was out off sur in all the songs he has sung.. Even in the Chakravyuh round for that matter... Shashi definitely deserved it.. Infact I had confusions to choose between Shashi and Rashi.. They both were fabulous 👏

Jeffrey's Sur were not right at too many places. Even if Shashi had been replaced by someone else and had in turn sung bad, Rashi would have been selected and not Jeffrey. Because Rashi was way better.

His part even if was cut that was for the viewers (Yes if its true then thats sad but its very common practice) The mentors and Maha Guru had listened to the actual song still they eliminated him. Because others were finally better than him.

This season I have a feeling we may see lot of talented ones getting eliminated and hearts broken because each and everyone is somehow class apart. The contestants are really too talented.

Well all the good luck to people who are out and in. You guys should read the topic.... SRGMP Scoop.... it is crazy that the topic was closed so quick ...lookslike it was a truth!!!
I wish Rashi and Jeffrey could've stayed a little more as they deserved to be in. There are alot of other contestants who should've been in sanjeevni booti round instead of them. But whatever happens, happens for the BEST...so they will go FAR in future. And people will realise what injustise was done to Int contestants.

In all fairness perhaps the Mentors should have explained to the Audience and viewers as to why a certain singer was eliminated. It is terrible when so much praises are rained on them, and next moment the exit is shown to them.

yeah, perhaps that is true. they should explain in more detail they like about the singer or what did wrong anyways, that way they can continue what their good at and improve what they're bad at. maybe if they worked on justifying their decisions more, the viewers won't argue or disagree with their decisions as much and try to consider the reasons.

Why the topic was closed and member banned is a DT issue so take it up on PM. Thats the forum rule.

As for truth. I can say just this. Do we have to seriously believe that his mentor would himself allow such thing to happen!!!!!

Not only that, we viewers MAY have been shown an edited video but the mentors and Maha Guru heard the full version. Still they gave this verdict. In Sanjeevani his own mentor did not even select him. If he had really sung that well won't he have given his vote to him!!!! This seems to be a far fetched conspiracy theory. 😆 Show shuru bhi nahi huya and eliminations par conspiracy theories lagne lagae. 😆

I fully agree to this part. Not only will this clear the minds of the viewers but the whole process would end up into a good learning process for even the viewers.

As for praises and then elimination well this season we may get to see this more. The quality of the contestants are so good that I feel as the show progresses we'll see contestants giving superb performances but still getting eliminated maybe because of 1-2 minor mistakes.
