Bhaskar The mentors did allow Saiyon to restart the song 3-4 times for sure because he didnt catch the pickup after the add lib. Shujat should have gotten the key if everyone loved it so much.

And again you are not reading the comments. Im not arguing about the elimination, what is being said is that the public should have been able to hear the song with its peak moments. That type of editing does not allow the singer to show the public more of their abilities.

Just curious - were you at the studio ? See , whether his song was edited out or if Sayon was allowed 3 times to start, these things here are immeterial since the judgement was not in the hands of the public. The judges would have heard him, Asha Tai would have heard Jeffrey's full version itself during the shoot and yet they decided thus . And if they had liked it , as much as they liked the rest there is no reason why he should be singled out and sidelined.

Jeffrey is a good singer no doubt, but on that day, despite being so good he was a bit weaker than the rest. Whether he excelled in the peak moments or not is immaterial as he did manage to go off in some other places and in a contest that is so tight, every mistake counts.

It's too early for the conspiracy theories, the show has just started .....😆

Jeffrey is not as lucky as Mauli who really reached the top ten. Perhaps he has a better career in USA. Hope this event has not totally killed all his musical ambitions.
