In all fairness Jeffrey sang the best in the Sanjivani round. He sounded very clear and good. Sashi somehow seemed a bit nasal and did not have the fire. Jeffrey should definitely be in.
There should be more places given to the gents compared to the ladies as there are far more better male singers compared to the ladies.

Not my dear friend..😃
Jeffrey ka sur kafi hil raha tha he simply faded in front of Shashi who was roaring there. But Jeffrey has a passion about singing, he is sincere and has a positive attitude so thumbs up for him.

You could be right but his voice sounded good. Any way will review again. Below are the 3 performances. Sashi seems better classically trained.

I found Jeffrey a very listenable singer. As Pritam said the best thing about him was his imperfection. Jeffrey's voice is very soothing and when he sings he lives the song, and I felt like listening to him again and again. This doesn't mean Sashi or Rashi were bad. In fact, I felt same with Rashi. Her rendition of Mere dholna..was fantastic and she was really outstanding. On the other hand, Sashi, being classicaly trained, definitely had an edge due to his qualification and capabilities, but was very ordinary in that round. I think sometimes all the technically perfect singing doesn't have that impact, which a simple-and-straight-from-heart rendition has on the audience. An analogy could be Kishore Kumar Vs. Manna Dey. Manna Dey is a brriliant classical singer and we enjoy the songs sung by him. But when it comes to Kishore, all the generations starting from his time to us, can't help falling in love with his voice.

Yes Mr. Bak Bak, Jeffrey is very listenable. Somehow my ears could not catch much of the technical flaws, if any. But he did sing an easier song compared to the other two.

I have to disagree with you. Jefferey was defo the worst one and his sur were all over the place... Shashi and Rashi were brilliant!!!!

I did not like his singing at all... don;t know what the judges were talking about with the flaws blah blah blah.... I mean, if a person has singing flaws, isn't that a bad thing? This is a singing contest isn't it?
