Out of 8 singers yesterday, 4 of them stood out.

jasraj, Vishwajeet, Madhuri and shehnaz !

It is ironical that jasraj being the best yesterday along with Shehnaz was not given the POTD😆

Jasraj floored me totally yesterday. The mukda was fantastic , had goosebumps throughout.👏👏👏

Shehnaz, awe inspiring yesterday.👏👏👏Loved it.😳

Vishwajeet chose a popular song. Did justice.👏👏👏Just felt his energy level was fluctuating during the song😊

Madhuri was also excellent. Love her voice and range.👏👏👏

Rest were ok or way below par like padhmanav, thank god he was eliminated.

Tomorwow 3 of the eliminated contestants will be selected and the show will get top 10 and then public voting.😆

I thought Shehnaz's POTD was very well deserved. Agree about Viswajit- song choice worked well for him and he sang well but not his very best. I liked Jasraj's performance as well but Shehnaz's rendition was completely perfect imo. Madhuri gave one of her better performances. Padmanabh was quite poor and so was Renu. Zain and Jazim were unremarkable.

Heard it. He tried to stick more to the original.😊

LP was not wrong. Any song based on a raaga or with a classical base with sargams, taans thrown in always has a greater appeal sung the old fashioned way or the modern way.

That is whay i like SM's compositions for blending the old and the new.

I think shehnaz brought a more mature and a softer perspective to the song, which i loved.👏👏

LOL,about the fake mannerisms.😳

What i found ironical was jasraj got so many undeserving POTD's, when he gave a truly wonderful performance, he did not get it😆

I think Jazim has been singing only ghazals by ghulam ali saab. why?

Is'nt sapno se bhare naina based on raag bhairavi? Why did Pt. VMB mention raag Keeravani? 😕😕

I think Shahnaaz was the best, pure singing having all ingredients. Vishwanath was also very very good. Rest were ok. And about Jasraaj, I think he ruined a beautiful song. My logic is simple, one should improve a bad song and should try to do justice with good song. First of all Jasraaj has issue with singing upar upar se. He has always been flat with sur and even his taan seems to be superficial. Jo andar se aani chahiye woh nahin aata Jasraaj ki singing mein. He sings upar upar se...Shahnaaz ne kaya pakra thaa song, SM was right ke isne is song ko ghol kar pi gaya..

Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt ji was very right when he said that you cannot compare Madhuri with the previous 3 singers and that her voice is best suited for playback singing.

Personally, I don't understand the hype surrounding some singers on the show when there are others who are probably more deserving.

But, we all know that any reality show is not only about talent.

She is one of the best singer on the show..I watch the show for her
