New Layout is Here! (Updated 2) - Page 30

the only prblm i have with the website is that the screen is too narrow and we dont need the blue bars on the side.

i also liked the little tool that we had where when u clicked on a topic, on the right hand side it would tell u who replied after u on ur last 10 posts.

please take that into consideration.

If fan fics have gotten messed up we can request to have that problem fixed. But instead should we bash someone else's work? If alot of us don't want our buddy lists to be shown then we should all state that. Instead of creating problems, we are here to find solutions and there is nothing wrong in change. We can adapt ourselves alittle bit to the new layout and at the same time ask for the layout to be adapted alittle bit to our tastes.

Criticism and suggestions are fine but there is a way to present them. Instead of signing petitions and saying we hate this, we should all come together and help improve. This is just my personal opinion and I understand that many may not agree. But we are on a discussion forum where all of us have a right to voice our opinions and I have just voiced mine stating what I felt is wrong.

but the site has changed it's purpose and it's not user-friendly...why is it that we have to keep repeating t his? I mean if we were truly being heard then maybe instead seeing the "attacks" ppl should ve focused on why those complains were being made. most of the posts have reasons in there that should be taken into consideration. When the topic was posted months ago regarding this and suggestions and critisims were offered by a few members, how come they were not taken into account while creating this layout? Instead all I ( I speak for myself now) got in response was the same generic reply implying that "ok u said whtever u want, but I'm still going to do wht i want".
If member suggestions are not important or taken into account then u can't expect them to be patient for a long period of time. This is fairly important to many ppl and losing its quality or purpose isn't going to run well with us.

Finally it's here. I know it looks a bit strange but eventually we'll get used to it. Just like it happened last time. When the previous layout was done, I didn't like it at all and now I think that was the best layout. :p

I am giving suggestions. I even posted a script error to vijay.

But the thing is why wasn't the site tested before going into productions. There are serious issues. I mean I don't whether profile is stored in database or not, how can female suddenly become male.

And the posting messages has serious issues. this are some basic things that should have been tested.

I like the new layout. It is pretty nice. Well actually cool. However there are a few glitches and i can't wait till they are fine. Nice layout though. Whoever worked on it good job.

@Diva: I completly agree with you! In the begining I acept the fact that it was a shock and navigating around the site was a bit confusing but it has gotton LOADS easier. And in a couple of days, when Vijay Bhaiya gets all the rest of the missing features up and running, everything will be normal. You have to think about it this way, Vijay Bhayia is not doing this for money or anything like that, it's out of the goodness of his heart! We have Vijay Bhayia on one side and on the other side we have people thretening to delete their accounts? It really shows how grateful we are to Vijay Bhaiya for opening this site where most of us have made life long friends!

I agree, I prefer the old layout mostly because I was used to it but with time, we will all get used to this format too! So for now relax, stop complaining and aprreciate the hard work of the wonderful people who put so much effort just for us!
