Are we of the Western hemisphere the culprits?

I logged in to the site today at or before 7 AM (5:30 PM IST), and the response was faster than I expected. People in India and thereabouts may be signing off, or if they are night owls, signing on after 10 PM (like now)!

Now it's around lunch time here in the mid-west US (11:30 AM), and the I finished my lunch before the home page showed up!

Vijay, can you please check my login time and this post time? Will be an indicator of the speed here....

Some excellent news:

From the past three days I have been working through out the Forum application coding for India Forums and much of the processes have been recoded to handle large traffic.
We notice a speed increment of 10-20 times then before.
We even ordered harware upgradation on both the Web Server and Database server.
And as per our initial test we can now take up a load of around 5000+ Active Users in the current setup so please do inform all your friends to log on India Forums.😳
