How is India Forums Speed today? - Page 6

It is extremely slow, takes 3 to 4 minutes to open up the page.... this is the same at my office as well as home... please do something.

Update: 23rd September 2005

- The site was was slow and the database server CPU usage was 100% throughout.

- Have been working for the past 2 days on areas where we can improve the speed. And have optimized quite a lot of code and now the homepage and other pages generation time has improved 3000%.

- Tomorrow will be a good test at the peak hour to see if it really worked. I am hoping it should definitely work and will really be very very fast tomorrow and might be the Active User count will cross 1400+ users and the server will still be running fine.

Thank Vijay...I think the real test will me on Monday...not all sony soaps are on tomorrow, so no one will look for those updates...Monday we will find out....
