Roobaroo featured Sonia Mehra, upcoming actress interacting with the contestants and having a blast. Deepali was being really missed, especially by Emon. All the contestants sang songs for Sonia of her choice. A debate about Singing V.s Performing started amongst the contestants. The theme for the eight gala was to sing sing pop songs from private albums. The celebrity judge was none other than Sonu Nigam, a judge of II from the past 2 seasons. He was quite impressed with the contestants, and was all praises for Emon, Puja, Chang and Amit. Sonu and Emon got together to do some mimicry of the judges, and ended off the episode by singing Is Pyar Ko Mein Kya Naam Doon together. The results came as a shock, with Puja Chatterjee leaving the Idol Stage after singing the best the night before.

Dashanan tries to move the mountain from his way.Just then Nandi, Lord Shankar's messenger comes to him and asks him to change his road. But proud Dashanan ignores him and tries again and again to lift the mountain and remove it from his way. Shankarji gets angry and presses the mountain towards the ground, Dashanan can't lift the mountain instead his hand gets stuck under the mountain. Dashanan cries out in pain. Seeing no other alternative, he starts singing a sloka in praise of Shankarji. Shankarji gets so pleased that he not only lets him go, but also gives him the name RAVAN, and gifts him Chandra Has,a very powerful weapon. Ravana also apologizes to him. After returning back to Lanka, Dashanan tells every one that from that day onwards he will be called Ravana.
