Well, coming to the above post by someone...she had posted how she misses it...if you ask for a vote from members, I would say, 90 /100 would go for this "like" display. This is one of the specialty of IF and now you are saying that this feature was taking lot of server resource...and hence you are changing it? I am really sorry to say that I am quite disappointed with your thoughts and decisions.

Please understand firstly, what is IF for us??... IF is not only a platform where we share information , but its a friend's gathering. I have made n' number of friends here with whom I chat on regular basis...it is so much of a fun to see who all have liked the post and supporting me...as their names stands out in lines, and makes it colourful, it adds colours to your positiveness. IF has become a part of our life for its friendly features and this "Liking" method in the old format is one of the main feature that each and every member use to love it. it really looks cute and attractive and so very different from other social sites. Especially, when you post an update for a fan fiction you are writing, you feel so pleased to see the number of likes and names of the people shown in horizontal lines...and that would encourage us to write further. Now, we just get to see only number of likes? Its really not done! :(

Also, now, each and every member who likes my post, I am not able to see if they are a new bee, senior member or an IF rocker and even more senior, isn't it even more demotivating factor for the members who are liking my posts?

I hope you understand my point of view on this. please dont make changes that only benefits IF team, you need to consider what we members prefer.

Me really going speachless... IF team is only concentrating on the technical part and not the emotional one which bounds we members and IF together and we members from each other... What big will it will take in displaying the likes ? see how disgusting you feel when you click on like link ...the members who have like the post, Only name can be seen...and that too not in an order... we cannot see what status they hold... Now, my question to all members..do you want your "likes" to be displayed like this? This is really not fair. :(

Sorry IF team not being a pain or anything but when will the PM issue be sorted out it’s been a week and still can’t send any PMs out I know you guys are working hard and really appreciate that but just hope that the issue are sorted out soon

Hmm.. or maybe they have tolerated it for more than 10 years for us.But if it was really that much heavy resource,they would have immediately removed the weight from their shoulders.

More like a Facebook but less than IF. I don't think I can never get used to this feature the most.

And we can clearly see copying features from another sites, ending up with this consequences ;)

Long post issue on Forums fixed.

Mr.Vijay my friends cannot login into IF from Laptop or PC, yes they can from mobile, but then with a lappy/PC it is more convenient. It is always showing 404 error message. Checked firewalls and other options also but to no use. Please bring back the previous feature. This one is painful in every aspect. If you go on ignoring our request we are forced to quit IF than wasting our time. There are lot more means of comunication. Don't take us for granted.

The decision to move Likes under the threads was taken after much deliberation.

We know its not as convenient as showing right under the post. So once big issues are resolved and stable we will be revisiting things where we can do better.

Next issue we are going to look at is the Emoticons for Desktop users.

We considering many thing ... we are adjusting so we can hope they would listen to us and bring like feature back 😶😶😶😶 ... atleast they can listen one request of manyyyy
