I agree with the person who said that we need new emoticons 😆 😆 sometimes these emoticons are just not enough to express the real extent of our feelings 😉

I would like to suggest one more thing

-Can we have a search facility for Private messages like search by subject or sender like we have in emails

vijay here are my suggestions after the 2 sites merges

1) IF must have have search and edit message in PM.
2) IF must repair its my homepage coz its out of order now.
3) Report button is not all working and delete button is often needed.
4) Auto logged of problems occurs after profile seettings HAVE been updated and when offensive posts are being reported by the help of that button.
5) We can have UK channels section sections added like BBC and Sky news, sky one., coz majority of members are located in UK, USA and Europe ONLY. Few leess aree in India and in others asian countries.

these to be needed to be done after 2 sites merges.

below are few suggestion from me ..

Contest Zone
Contest are really important part of the forum as it give chance to member to contribute toward the forum and here they gain chance to show there talent and win award also.I feel we need separate Contest zone where list of all contest available with the list of old contest and winner of the same as new member can trace easily current as well as the old contest and winner of the old contest. It is difficult to host contest at one place as many of the contest are related to some section of the forum so we can post the contest in particular section and make the link for the same available in the Contest Zone.

We can also think of developing some module for holding Contest which can help us to reduce the work of the MOD's of keeping track of the PM's of the participant as well as the counting of the voting the module can have below feature.
1) Special kind of topics where Member can post there Entries like they make regular post but no one able to view the same. Member can only watch the entries made by them same time the posting will be accepted up to deadline and once the deadline is finished no one can post the entries. Only Mods who are authorized for that contest are able to view all the entries so they can finalize the entries if required.
2) Special kind of Poll where mod can start the voting for the contest where member can only vote for one entry but they are not able to view the results once the dead line is finished the topic will be closed and MOD's can announcement of the winner. This will help for quick result. Even we can try voting option in front of each entry if required so that will be helpful for the member to vote.
This feature will reduce most of the efforts for arrangement of the contest and enable us to held more no of contest.
I know this feel very easy to imagine but required lot of technical as well as programming efforts.

Reward
Can we think of add something Points system to .com and give points to the member.

IF Shop
if we introduce something like IF Shop where member can buy siggy and avtar from other member. This way they can utilize there points also and the person who are putting there efforts while preparing siggy and avtar can also get some rewards. Same we can add many interesting things to IF Shop like Accessories or things of the TV celebrities.

IF Email
As we already have PM's why we need the email. but with pm's member can be in touch with the other member. but not the outside world. As we have member who almost spend 7-8 hours a day on the site for them to keep in touch with outside world hey again required to go other website so why not provide them the facility to keep in touch with out side world using IF Email.

IF Greetings

As we all know indian or asian is the major crowed of the website and they are the only one who are celebrating most of the festivals so why not add facility of sending greetings from IF only we already have big team of Avtar and siggy developer they can help us for the same.

The above feature under one umbrella and that too using single IF ID .. so i feel that will very much helpfull ..

Vijay.... it seem .com and .in is merging...lekin...one of my collegue is a member of .in and i am a member of .com... so it both merges will it not be a problem for mod they might think multiple id..(coz server IP will be same).
