The first public library was the Boston Public Library. The Library was established in 1848 and is widely recognized as the first public library in the country.

I know 1848 is not an option but I believe 1847 is. I remember getting this question and answering it correctly. I don't recall what I answered at that time. I know for sure Boston Public Library is the first Public Library - you can google search and research a little more if you want to be absolutely sure. If you don't answer it at all that balloon is going to spalsh on you anyways.

As far as the mosquito qs. goes the answer seems to be blue - couple of diff. sites have the same color. But try at your own risk or research some more before you answer. DOn't beat me up if it is wrong.

The Boston Public library opened to public in 1854 eventhough it was built in 1848.

A Tribute to the Boston Public Library

On the Sesquicentennial of its Opening to the Public 1854-2004

Although the Boston Public Library was officially established in 1848, it didn't open to the public until 1854. The Reading Room was opened to the public on March 20, 1854 with a collection of 138 periodicals. The circulation department opened on May 2, 1854. This was an immensely important event in the history of America's public libraries.

Found another incorrect question. 2 Indians took Bradman's wicket in 1948 and both of them, DG Phadkar and VS Hazare, don't figure in the options 😡

In 1948, who became the only Indian to dismiss Don Bradman in a Test Match?
Lala Amarnath
Chandrashekar
Umrigar
Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi
