Our Apologies on India-Forums Downtime.

Hi Friends,

I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused due to the downtime of India-Forums.com. Well there was a hardware issue which took some time for us to replace it. But the problem that it has caused is that, it forced an abrupt shutdown of the Database server which made our database corrupt and unusable.

We tried all possible ways to retrieve the latest database but all our attempts went unfruitful so finally we had to use the latest backup which means any thing posted after 3:30PM IST today would be lost. 😭 Meaning approx 2 hours of the data posted between 3:30PM - 5:30PM would be lost.

Even our whole team working and continously adding content and data are quite upset. Special mention is that our dear TellyBuzz editor Sree is quite upset with this as she lost quite a few articles that were posted today.

We hope that you all will understand the situation and we would try our level best that such situations doesnt occur again.
