Yes.. passing on the message to the organisers can be done! And can be done in a civil way! Lets adopt some Gandhigiri guys 😉 too much of violence everywhere already 😭

I'd suggest the Admin makes a list (report or petition kind) of the loopholes in the nominations.. Why & Where members of IF think the nominations are not good enough and that it could be better. I don't think anything can be done at this stage..but still, atleast they will know 😊

I feel very cheated !

P.S@ admins: pls this is not because a particular actor from a specific soap is not nominated , but because of the by and large outrageous nominations!

I think it is high time that new serials and jodis are giving there due instead of the old ones keep on coming again and again like hiten and gauri being nominated again and again for best jodi and winning it so many times in the row! Other couples deserved it more and that is the truth that nominations were made by the popularity and all but not by who deserved it! Hiten Gauri weren't even shown much in Kyunki then why nominate them again and again in star pariwaar awards, this was an example only! but yeah Kyonki is old now! We need to move on and check the new things!

I wanna see Karan Singh Grover and Shilpa Anand being nominated! and DMG cast and all! Why do all the saas bahu stuff take the big position? DMG cast deserve it more especially Karan and Shilpa and Pankit as Atul in DMG for comedy role!

IF people will not vote for anyone if nominations are gonna keep on going like this!

Also sometimes serials are not nominated by the popularity but still they don't give it to the deserved one just like it happened in these nominations!

Hello All,

Well I am sure how difficult the nominations would have been for the jury as today there are so many talented actors and so many interesting shows.

Please note this is based on shows and performances till March 2008. So any new show after that will be done next year.

Its understandable that some members get upset when their favorite star is not nominated but please understand a maximum of just 4 person could have been nominated for a particular category.

The jury members for this year award function are:

1. Mr Sajid Khan (Actor)
2. Mr. Sanjay Khan (Actor, Producer)
3. Ms. Rati Agnihotri (Actress)
4. Ms. Poonam Dhillon (Actress)
5. Mr. Dheeraj Kumar (Producer, Actor)
6. Ms. Ashvini Yardi (Senior Vice President and Head of Content and Creative, Colors)
7. Mr.Amod Sharma (Director, Air India)
8. Deboshree Ghosh (Editor, Gold Magazine)

And we should respect their decision as everyone cant be nominated.

Yes, as Vijay has rightly pointed out above, shows which have been on air from March 2008 have been taken into consideration here..

Also, the decisions on nominations have been done by the able Jury members of Platinum Television Awards listed above... So IF does not have a say in the nominations...

So please we request our members to cool down. We really know that many of you here are upset on not finding your favorites being nominated. But as we said, the decision of nominations rests with the authorities of the Awards and we are just the online media partners who will be taking care of world wide voting for the awards..

So kindly take this into consideration and we would like our members to understand whatever is being said.. If you wish to vote, then please go ahead... The voting lines for the same will get opened by this week.. If your favorites are not lined up, then friends, there is always a tomorrow. So lets move on... We might be getting more opportunities in future that will keep our members happy and pleased...

Some serious questions have arisen and hopefully we will get answers :

3) Some members have vehemently crying out in the TB article that in the nomination list, Sanjeeda was nominated in "Best Villian" category and later on, its changed to Himani Shivpuri? How and when did this happen? . The names Sanjeeda and Himani are not similar and it can't be any error.
Please clarify this because this is putting question mark over the nomination list and on the claim that IF is not involved in any way with it😕

4) Lastly - The official site link shows Zee to be the channel partner. No wonder all nominations are as per their favourites.
Now we get why Naagin and Bidai are there, and few special actors are on the list while a few genuine ones absent. Tellybuzz itself gives us the idea how these few serials and actors, whose nominations have been done, get preference here at IF and TB rather than other serials.
