Well dear.. IF does not ONLY constitute of KSBKBT or KGGK or Kumkum fans.. there are fans of mannnnnnny other shows.. there are fans of other stars.. and definitely fans of serials & stars that are nominated! Fans want to see their favourites win awards. If your favourite is not nominated.. someone else's favourite is nominated! And so, they will vote!

This is not the case of who has how many fans!

The nominations are the most ridiculuous ones I have ever seen and majority of the members seem to think so as well!!

The point I am trying to convey is that I-F as a responsible forum should have done its HW.

Nominations I agree are not to be based on popularity but on the worthiness of the actor!!

I am certainly not going to vote as I do not find anyone here worthy of the nominations in any case!!

I rest my case and have no more to add!!

It's weird that we are given a list of Nominees and told that these are popular so vote for them😊

I dont have any grudge against IF, but this thingy is weird😕None of my Fav is there, so it's like Votings are accessible to a limited members of IF

I agree that a lot of fans disagreed with the nominations because their favourites were left out but I dont think they can please everyone. Even in Bollywood award shows, the nominations will not be agreed by everyone.

Out of 350,000 fans (I know not all of them are active), 200 odd comments were made in the TB article and a lot of them by the same people repeating the same thing. That does not represent the whole of I-F. Its understandable people are upset but the ones nominated are also popular and worthy in their own right (most of them).

If the admins/GM want to pursue these complaints then maybe they should be forwarded to the jury. But I dont know if anyone can be done at this stage.

Well.. I certainly beg to differ too!

To me..it certainly looks like it is about who has how many fans! If its not the case..then why protest about the nominations in the first place?! Correct me if I'm wrong..but the nominations seem ridiculous to you (and other members)..simply coz your favourites are not nominated!

Also..who decides who is WORTHY of a nomination or not?! Those who are nominated.. have fans who think their favourites are WORTHY of the nominations.. its as simple as that! Just an example.. you're a KSBKBT fan..and I'm a Kumkum fan. You may think Kumkum is not worthy of a nomination..and I may think the same for KSBKBT.. It doesn't mean either one is not worthy..coz both shows have their respective 'fan' following!!

Why are we protesting on IF ? - Coz its one of the voting partners and all we want is that it should let the awardsorganisers know that the nomination list does not agree with the general popularity of serials .

Its NOT about Kyunki . Do you know how popular Balika Vashu is? Where is it in the nomination list? Go and see the list of Anchors. Is Roshni chopra and other nominees more popular than Shaan, Aditya and Hussain?

Whenever the awards are announced, it is always a matter of debate. But it has never happened that people largely disagree on nominations.

Since IF is our ONLY link to Award's commate, we will sound our opinion here !!!!

But some extreme extremely popular actors and actresses are missed out of here😛And IF is for ALL no ?!😳So it's weird that a certain community is detached from the voting aspect😊Never mind !

You are right Guddi, Reemz and Ekraj, find me one person on IF - Active or inactive list who will say that "This nomination list seems quite fair to me" 😆. Out of 238 comments, not even ONE says that they are happy, it should give you some indication of popularity of the nomination list.

BTW, I see the title of GA changed after I pointed out the mistake 😃

Even with the ITA and HHITA nominations you WILL find disagreements. Thats what I'm saying....you can't satisfy everyone. I was shocked that KSG and Divyanka were not nominated at the HHITA. I was proper annoyed that my favourite actress and such a popular one too wasn't in the list and I didnt agree with the other nominations but I just told myself that maybe these other nominees are really popular too. I-F doesn't represent the whole of India. Out of all the Indian shows, DMG has the biggest fan following online but in India the trps are quite low.
