I think username change should be allowed without marring or changing the number of posts the original ID has....

yes, definitely!!! i like the changing it every six months idea. that would be perfect.

i agree...with dramaholic...we shoud have ID changes from I-F dazzlers and up{every 6 months}...less stress for admin and less confusing for members

I think it should be allowed but having a restriction...meaning you cant change it more than 3 times...and it like tracks how many times you change it and after that it doesn't let you change your username or change back to your old one...

^ I like THAT idea. Every six months we should be allowed to change our username, but after 3-4 times, you can't change it anymore and get stuck with the last username. :)

Username change should be allowed once or twice for a particular member irrespective of the amount of time they have spent being the member of IF. This is because many people get acquainted with other people and know by their usernames. Username is kind of an identity that must be retained for better communication. Once or twice change in username will make people think of a particular name that (s)he will feel good to use, it's an opportunity to select your name. Do we change our actual names? No. So why should we be changing our usernames so frequently? Can't we select a good impressive one for ours and retain them? And for later times when we feel that no not this but some other username will suit me better, the option of changing username should remain opened but that too for once or twice.

every six months is a good idea but in a way that everyone comes to know who has changed there user name into what.the old one should be visible with the new one in some way.wat say!!!😊
