Thanks for the lovely update!
Not much to comment on today. Overall I felt horrible for Sanchi, but her showdown with Veenaji was always on the horizon. Sigh Sanchi was often brazen, condescending and at times downright rude with her mother (anyone remember her attitude towards Veena during the election fiasco?), that it was only a matter of time before Veena snapped.
Especially when you consider the fact that her husband Tarchand, is always chastising her for doubting his ladli. Veena knows that she's right but her opinion, and feelings were always dismissed by the father/daughter duo.
Still it must sting Sanchi to receive a slap from her mother, when you consider the fact that Indu too was in the room! I wonder why Veena brought both of them in the room?
At any rate what I liked from today's epi was:-
- Indu and Sanchi for once after arguing being sensible enough not to turn a petty fight, into a full-blown ego war! I swear I was honestly expecting one or the other, to vow 'vengeance' after the Rubina kand was over, due to the other biting their heads off! At least we all know now, that it takes something as serious as murder to rein in INSA's super egos!
- I liked seeing both Sanchi and Indu feel bad about betraying Veena. Also the way they acknowledged that the truth will always come out, regardless of how many lies they tell to hide it.
- Plus the track has moved along with INSA and co finding out that Rubina was being paid by someone other than Saru, despite claiming she had no family or friends to support her.
- Also it seems like that Mannu, might not be guilty of anything yet, as he was the one who found proof of Rubina's acts and brought them to light. Still he won't get a clean chit yet from me...
- Finally I can't wait until Radha discovers Saru's truth. I really hope we have a following track where Anita supports her, and eventually Radha repents for being such a b**** towards her. I would throw in feeling guilt towards the Mathur's also, but I think that particular track is a long time if ever in coming!
What I didn't like:-
- Indu not hugging Sanchi when she was so broken! I agree with Ritu here; Sanchi was literally begging for a hug with her pleading eyes as she looked up at Indu. But overall personally I think Indu is attempting to maintain some distance between them, as he doesn't want to get rejected and hurt by Sanchi again. Nevertheless it's annoying to see how he isn't struggling to control his urge to comfort Sanchi. I mean she was so brokenhearted today, and he could only make a sad face, and give her a mini bhashan.
- Also I'm confused over the fact that even after knowing that Rubina was a student, the police officer didn't assume the library book was hers. I guess INSA's goofball move of removing the library entry has aroused his suspicions in regards to that.
- Plus was it hinted that Rubina was romantically involved with someone else besides Saru with that mystery letter?! Ugh if it turns out to Prabal that would be so gross! Lol at least at a later stage Indu can always tease Prabal about having an affair with his uncle's mistress!
