After what I felt last night and now reading your posts, I realized that I truly never cared for Indu-Saanchi love story. I was always thinking...If CVs will want it, it will happen, if CVs do not want it, it will not happen. Why bother !
Fact is I respected Saanchi's choice that she does not like Indu and wouldn't want to do anything with him.
Fact is also I supported her through my admonishment of her instigating actions which started this Tit for Tat game. And I really wanted her interaction with the Goonda to end for her own betterment.
Yesterday, for the first time, away from all the high voltage drama of key events, as Indu Singh yet again spoiled Saanchi's new day (first time, day after her marriage through giving reception and second time day after mock-SR through public sympathy garnering), it dawned on me that this is how Indu Singh planned his REVENGE on Saanchi in his NAFRAT KI AAG (hatred). So each day he would try to do something...
Obviously, I would have wished Saanchi to walk away from the draamebaazi, unlike Indu getting excited at the sight of her. But then she doesn't walk away and is getting apprehensive of what next now !
And here I started actually listening to the guy. In my state of total dislike for the guy's actions when I actually asked myself, how could I even bother to listen and enjoy his talk, I then realized that he has charismatic hold. His speech is very good and it reaches straight to our heart. His words, statements keep ringing within. May be that is whole crux of problem for Saanchi and why she fails in her efforts. She is calculative (unlike me) and does acts that saves her ass...but somewhere in her reactive state in response to the excitement that Indu causes her, she tries to out-do him and in result becomes over-smart & pompous..if Indu pscychologically would not have affected her, I must say, she would have won easily against this guy. The latent excitement levels that Indu rakes up in Saanchi is what is causing her collateral damage.
Here I would like to mention two persons.
The VC and the female lecturer.
The VC has been shown NEUTRAL towards Indu. He does not get excited or anything. He does not judge Indu Singh but judges only his actions. I feel quite close to this man. Because this is what I feel about Indu.
The female lecturer. She is correct in all rights. Thinking about college, principles and calling a spade a spade...but I have never been able to approve her. She just talks..like society..passing statements. She is more of a "Newspaper editorial" in expressing her thoughts. But that editors word instead of reaching out to my head and heart in objective manner, I feel it expressed in aggressive manner. ..a trait which makes us distinguish between a good newspaper and a sensational newspaper.
