Sonali agreed Madhu is the best mother, but I don't we can find one like that in real life. We want to be like her, but r we like her? Close ur eyes and ask ur conscience; then maybe maxm 75-80%. Not completely like her. At the end of the day, we pine and do for our children. I am not saying everyone pampers it or bosses it around, but to a large extent, we do these things especially till their marriage maybe even after). I guess we do it because we don't we r selfish; rather we feel a child is vulnerable and we have to protect it from the vicissitudes of life. In fact, we treat it as a kind of possession.

I think PP nurtures her children naturally like any old fashioned middleclass mother. In those times, kids did not have to compete for future careers and jobs. Life was a bit easy for the kids who are allowed to get less than 80 or 70. Those times kids were taught to respect and share things. Not to keep tips to themselves.
Now things have drastically changed.Nowadays even middleclass mothers have become highly ambitious driving their kids to excel in everything except character development. We think character development will come without any effort by just taking care of other things. We pamper kids with expensive gifts like smartphones at an young age instead of giving more time and more emotional support when they fail our expectations. The very rich have servants and ayas to take care of their children instead of parents and grandparents. They give what is called quality time. And the children mingle with kids from the same background. Here the children need not worry much about scores as they are groomed to take over to mind their extensive business empires or in the case of filmstars join the industry in some capacity.Satrupa supports good education and scores like a modern middleclass mother pampering kids with some expensive gifts and lifestyle. I think she took care of Vatsalya herself without giving him away to ayas or care takers inspite of being very rich. She does not drink or smoke or socialise or cool in foreign countries the way most of the rich are prone to do. A conservative woman who lives in a joint family and also taking care of every detail and involving herself. We cannot expect a PP from Satrupa. PP represents old world lifestye and values while Satrupa represents an ambitious middleclass mindset rather than super rich mindset though Satrupa is super rich.
