Baldev's character is looking confused now. He was all for getting rid of Sudha. But When she is being thrown out of LM he makes strange faces and actually goes to meet her asking explanations.It is as if he expected her to be otherwise.

Loved the way she moved Sudha out.

Sudha is unconcerned of the nightly outings of her son...the pouring water...we call thalai muzhugiten...who has been shunned by Sudha now?

Two things I am reminded of today. One, when the whole RS business was going on, Vikram made a statement as to it would be curious who would make what alliances. LM people make alliances to suit their needs, and who they trust. Vikram is angry at Satrupa for bringing Anami in but still he trusts her enough to carry out her plan. He certainly does not like Gayathri's softness towards Anami but still he trusts that she knows Anami and what she is doing. What is clear is he does not trust Baldev. The three of them will have moments of distrust with each other, may not like what each other do at times, but the fundamental alliance holds true. Same with Pujan, Kamini and Avdoot. But in the Pujan family case we know what the alliance reason is, greed and love of family. But what holds Gayathri, Vikram and Satrupa together ? Why do their trust their bahu after almost 20 years of what happened and not their beta ? They do not trust their son, period. What happened that fundamentally caused them to distrust Baldev ? Vikram did say he needed Baldev , but obviously not enough to trust.

Second, when Vikram asked Anami and Avdoot to choose between family and society, Anami and her baashan about society flew in the face of her decision today. Avdoot would have thrown Sudha out to the street, but Anami did not. She did arrangements to take care of her but she did throw her out of LM, out of a place where she can do no direct harm. What is clear is Anami will not intentionally hurt, she will try to minimize the impact of her decision, but her first priority is those she considers family. What LM wasis don't know is they are not what she considers family. Satrupa will have to take a direct hit, stand in front of someone Anami loves for her to change her opinion about Satrupa.

Tomorrow's precap is intriguing. Love vs Duty. This Baldev story reminds me of the British royal family. I'll talk more about it tomorrow. But a very good episode.

@usha yes I have also been intriuged about Narotham's visit. Earlier it might have been Sudha. But now where he is going. Yes he defends Anami. But Sudha is not realizing this. She is lost in her world.

@mangothyme what keeps vikku, gayatri and satrupa together is the power, power of RS, they want the power to be in their bloodline. So this bond is very fragile and quite matlabi. It can break when one takes a different stand. It will look together, but can be broken. It depends on what all will Baldev do and to what extend Satrupa is willing to clean up the mess Baldev creates. Dadi and Vikku will want to cover up their son's wrong doing, but can Satrupa take more rubbish. Will she question and will that question fall in deaf ears as reeti, neeti parampara of LM does not give its bahu right to question. It will be interesting to see that point. British royal families. Dont talk about them. After reading enough English fiction know the mock morality that is displayed there. 😃😃, Indian neo rich are nothing less. We inherit the same traits from our colonial masters.

The mention of dadi should not have been spared by Sudha did sound ominous.

I find this ominous too. If Satrupa replaced Sudha's place in Baldev's life it should be her that is logically Sudha's target. But other than these staring matches with Satrupa,Sudha perceives Dadi as the biggest threat and the mastermind. In this case it is Satrupa who planned, but Dadi who did the execution. Sudha does not mention Vikram, Pujan, Baldev, all people we have seen hurt people as possible targets. But it is interesting she goes straight to Dadi as the one that needs to be eliminated.

There is a saying in the US, "Don't mess with Mama Bear". Baldev was the heir, but he is also Dadi's son. So what did Baldev do that needed the Mama Bear in Dadi to come out to protect her cub ? In this case I don't think it was LM, but Baldev himself. The Sudha- Baldev story must be something.
