Story strts frm the tym when ratan comes to know about baapjisa's last wish of dira marriage..
Ratan gets frustrated nd angry..he is not ready to marry diya..but at the same time he feels bad for her..so he request diya to live in kesar mehel only and decides to search a good match for diya.he was so confused how to search a suitable person for diya who will make her happy always.but one day he notice diyash..he gets happy thinking that yash would be perfect for diya..he was suspicious of diyash true feelings for each other..he was not sure of diya but in case of yash he was 90% sure that for him diya is more than a frnd...so he strts working on mission diyash marriage..he plans so many things to bring them closer...and does so many things so that any one of them confess der feelings...but all his efforts goes in vain..during this process ratan strts to develop some unknown feelings for diya..he himself was unaware of this change of feelings for diya but he ignored his own feelings nd stayed focus on diyash thing..
Coz for him only diya's happiness nd baapji sa's command matters most..now movng to story

One day ratan plans a date for diyash..
Yash is waiting for them in date spot...while ratan says he will take diya to yash..
Ratan is waiting for diya outside her room..he was thinking how to execute his plan further as he dint tell diyash abt date thing..
(Note-its ratan's plan to bring them close..he told diyash that they all r going for dinner but at last moment he will leave them alone making sum excuse)
He was biting his nails in nervousness..just then he turns hearing diya's words
"Daata hukum hum ready hai"
The moment he saw her he got awestruck..his jawline dropped lukng at her!!
She was standing der in front of him wearing a beautiful pink color saree..her hairs tied in a bun..nd she completed her look wearing a pair of heavy earings!!

Ratan's pov
Koi itna beautiful kaise ho sakta hai..i hve so many gf's in london bt i never had this feeling for them..m feeling strange today..i hve planned so many things for yash banna nd diya..but why m i feeling like running,taking diya away with me..why m i feeling like stopping all this!!m i..no no
Ratan is lost..he was lookng straight to her without blinking...
Just then diya's word intrupt his thoughts
"Ratan sa ye earing boht heavy hai!!
Or ye saree..boht heavy..isse acha to hum apna simple dress pehn lete..sirf dinner pr hi to jana hai!!"
Ratan sa!!! She waves her hand before his face..
Ha..wo (his mind voice-shit ratan stop it..wht r u thinking u idiot..diya is just ur friend nd nothng more)
"Ratan sa kha kho gaye aap" ask diya with a smile
Noo..Nothing..lets go..we r getting late diya
Says ratan nd holds her hand nd leaves for dinner..
Dira r on way to der destination.
During whole journey ratan was juggling between his thoughts..
"Aaj finally mere plan ka interval hoga..m sure yash banna has some feelings for diya..and today he will propose her..diya ko ese jab dekhege yash banna he will get flat..koi bhi ho jaega..or wese bhi diya itni achi person hai kisi ko bhi unse pyar ho jaye..me bhi to..!!
he stops der only nd closes his eyes.diya puts the break suddenly
"Ratan sa kya hua apko..pta hai abhi accident ho jata" diya ask being worried
(Ratan mind voice-wht the hell is happng to me today..why m feeling restless today. I should be happy for my both best frnds..why m i feeling like calling yash banna and saying to him that we are not comng der..bt m the only one who wants this rite..nooo!!!but..yeah..ufff m the only one who wants to reverse all thisshit..m such a fool)
Wo ..wo!!na..nothng diya..not feeling good..lies ratan
"Ap kuch ljie..wait ha hum apke lie wo stall se lemonade late hai..u will feel better!!" Says diya being worried for him
"No diya m okay"
"No if no but..ap car side me park kariye..tab tak hum stall pe jate hai"says diya being bossy
Saying this she gets off frm car while ratan goes to park the car at roadside..
Suddenly rain strts..
Ratan gets worried for diya bt as he look at her ,he found her enjoying the rain..
She is playing like a small kid with raindrops..
An unknown curve form in his lips lukng at her smiling..he was so happy lukng at her actions..
He was admiring her frm the car while she calls him to come out nd enjoy with her!!
"Ratan sa aiye na!! Aj rajasthan me itne dino bad barish hui hai(lol sorry for this dialogue..dont laugh plz)
He comes out frm the car ..she is jumping and playing with raindrops..
Both r fully wet..
"Aapko baarish boht pasand hai na diya"ask ratan
"Boht boht jyada"she shouts at her full vol.
"Aaj se mjhe bhi baarish boht pasand hai diya"says ratan unknowingly
Diya with a confused expression- "matlab??
Ratan realizes wht he just said..he says avoiding eye contact with her
"Wo..aa..mene rajasthan ki barish pehli bar dekhi..so frm today on i love rajsathan's rainfall too..
Actually its really beautiful..he looks straight in her eyes while saying this line..
Diya laughs and says-aap boht strange hai ratan sa!!!
Saying this again she strts enjoying rainfall..
Here ratan is lookng at her only with a diff feeling..
He starts to come closer ...
Suddenly he grabs diya by waist..diya gets confused...
While in b.g the baarish song plays from yaariyan movie

Diya is just lukng at him with confused Expression

Diya papa sa hukum said if no one marries you..i ll hve to hold ur hand nd make u happy...but When i got to know this i was so frustrated..i was reluctant to marry you..i was like we r poles apart..how can papa sa hukum evn think of it!!!
But i was like its just abt making u happy...nd then i saw u with yash banna..the way he cares for you is so genuine nd selfless..i was like why not him!!..yash banna nd u guyz r together for 12 yrs..he knows ur likes nd dislikes..and he is ideal match for you..so i decided to unite u guyz..evrythng that happnd these days was part of my plan to bring u guyz closer!!!

He tucked her hairstrainds behind her ear..
And brings his face near her..their lips r just few inches apart.
His hot breath on her lips making her shiver...
He is about to kiss her buttt...
Reality hits him hard!!
"Ratan sa apka lemonade!!"
Hearing her voice he comes back in reality...nd realizes it was just a dream!!tears form in his eyes bt he controls it.

saying this he drove off to destination leaving diya in a confused state..
Dey reaches the date place..
A beautiful set up was der..yash is already present der waiting for the two to come..
They both reach der..yash looks at diya and he gets mesmerized..he just stare her

Yash-diya i hve not realized my feelings till now..bt when i saw u almost near to deathbed i realized how much u matters to me..i dont know when whete nd how i strtd loving u...i realized that i love u alot diya..will u marry me please
He bends on his knees..diya gets shocked..
Here Ratan leaves the place wiping his tears and strts walking lifelessly on road...he dont hve courage to listen diya's answer..he was sure of a positive rply frm diya..nd why not??why will she reject yash who is perfect in all way.moreover he is her best frnd.and a girl finds a best frnd in her husband.(our ratan's thinking)
Ratan pov
"I dont deserve you diya..u deserve yash banna..who always cared for you understand you,on top of it he knows you since 12 yrs..and m sure he will keep u happy always..he loves u alot..u dont deserve a fool like me who was unaware of his own feelings for you.nd realizing now!!at this stage i cant loose my two best frnds due to my foolishness!!
But Why god why!!! Why i realized my feelings so late!!why it always happens with me...m i so bad that i dont deserve any happiness in lyf..why everyone whom i love goes far away from me..
I loved Papa sa nd masa hukum bt they left me..now i loved diya...bt she is going to be someone else's..nd i m the only one who sent her away..m such an idiot...
He falls on his knees crying and shouts his lungs out
I love you diya!!i really really love you..i need you ..but i dont want to loose ur frndship..u love yash banna..nd yash banna loves you... i cant be selfish!!!
He hides his facs in his palms nd cries in under the moon
