I do write for myself as much as I write for you and the other readers, and what turns me on is as much the story I want to read as it is the tone and style in which it is written. The idea being to challenge myself with every chapter. But I take your point - and I will make a conscious effort to tone down the language in the next chapter.

Chap 2 was also really good. its building up the suspense well and making it very thrilling.
I thot An and Ka have already cnfessed their love, but realised they havent in this chapter.
My favorite was this one -
She stood before him, the light from the window behind her limning her lush form and setting her curls on fire - as though she embodied incandescence. His breath caught.

"Beautiful," he breathed out. And then his eyes drifted to her face and the eyes now wide with puzzlement.

and also I liked the way he stopped the car and made her understand his pov.

You are very good with words in fact amazing. I loved the way Kabir warned her about her recklessness and Kirit's qualities or lack there of. I love your writing, to the point, without fluff. Waiting impatiently for the next part👏👏👏
