Love is like two people holding a rubber band, we pull, then when one person let's go, it's the person who held on that gets hurt..
A wave of emotions passed through her eyes telling him her sorrows. She stood there gazing at his guilt stricken eyes. Breathing heavily she let the tears invade her vision and took two steps back.
Seeing this He stepped forward trying to help her only to receive a cold stare along with a hand stopping him to move and help her .
''Ananya...'' He breathed heavily and through eyes pleaded his wife. She was still in a daze tears flowing away like water. Standing there leaning on wall she looked in his eyes for answers.
''Tell me Kabir !...The Truth please ...'' She said sternly.
He looked at her melancholy self and his heart pained. Looking in her eyes he got to see a tornado of emotions pain of betrayal, trust and love. Sighing heavily he decided to reveil the horrifying truth to his wife as it was high time now.
''Eight years ago when I was a junior your father's case made headlines. I was sure Sudhir kashyap was innocent he was indeed being framed.. I did my research and got a very solid proof against the real culprit he was none other than 'Surya Manchanda' the king of medicine manufacturing industry... I was ready to expose him but before I could Tarini got kidnapped by Surya's men . When I went there to bring her back they offered me Tarini's life and 5 crore for the proof. .. I had no choice I had to save Tarini she's everything Anurag has been left with . I exchanged the proof along with money for Tarini and left leaving all the proof I had on kidnapper's table. .. Rest is all history. I got divorced. Helped Tarini and Anurag. Went underground for some years. Came back to KKN. Fell in love and married to you ... Mrs. Ananya Kabir Sharma unaware of you being Sudhir kashyap's daughter. ''
He completed earning a sarcastic laugh from Ananya. She loved him more than her existence it was something so obvious to him. Kabir had fallen for Ananya not because of any guilt but because of her passion towards journalism and finding the treasure of truth.
''I am going Kabir. ..forever. ..don't ever try finding me again. ..'' She exclaimed and wiping off her tears turned back to leave.
''Anu...don't. .'' Kabir pleaded to her with his glassy eyes.
''Its too late. ..I am going forever. ..bye !''
She left the room hastily and Kabir slumped on the floor thinking what has happened few minutes back. He was fighting with Malvika his colleague and friend about telling the truth to Ananya when she has heard Everything ...
His life was gone now. His Ananya has left him because of himself.
