Aww! π€ Do get well soon Avantika, and get back to your lengthy posts like always. : ) π
And need I say, flu or not, never makes anything you write muddled or disoriented, so, this was perfect like always. π³
Yeah, a Kabir-less episode sucks no matter how many times everybody mentions him and yes, hawa mein Raja Kabir ka nasha toh hai, chahe hawa taazi acchi wali ho ya badnaami wali, π but the episode really did what it started out to do, bring out to the fore everybody's true motives now that there's a scope for everyone to play their shatranj ki chaal.
Chaos everywhere it is and in the midst of everything, like you said the shipper heart still has hopes, it has to have.
Malvika, honestly I think it was time all of it came out, her true face. πWe saw a glimpse of it during the Bhavna Shroff case too. She is the channel owner's daughter and although her anger at Bhavna was justified there, but the domineering side of her character, who thinks she can own everything and everyone just because she has the power of money really comes out nice and easy now when she is out to sabotage Ananya like that. And as much as she tries to keep it cool and deny she is scheming to phasao Kabir , that's exactly what she wants, it's almost like an obsession for her now. π³
You can't possess someone's love, someone's affection like that, least of all someone like Kabir's, and this is something she needs to understand.
And yes, maybe she has grasped the tension between Kabir and Ananya after listening into their conversation the other day and the whole idea of going over to his place with wine as we learnt from the spoiler seems like one of those typical vamp-ish plans to seduce the hero and get it out of him or something, but it all really is a long shot!
Yes, he is emotionally in two minds, whether or not he should confront his feelings and how the other factors in their lives might affect if he did, but Malvika's a fool if she believes his vulnerable state can be her red hot iron to strike on. Kabir Sharma can't be swayed, least of all by someone like her, and he has long since gauged what Malvika is and how her psyche works and has played her all along. So tough luck there, Woman!π
Coming to Manav, the guy really never ceases to amaze me ! Yes, an opportunist leech of the highest degree, but the irony was in the fact that even when he perfectly understands Malvika and hits the nail with her, how quickly he casts it aside to turn into the scheming selfish git with trying to turn Rohan and the others against Kabir.
And you know, when during the conference meet Malvika lies about the call Kabir supposedly made to her, I for once wanted him to rile her up by negating what she said. You challenged her to something, why not make it tough for Malvika as well. Might have caused some more drama.π I don't know. I wanted the others to witness Malvika's discomfort too as she tried to make up bahanaas again. π
I can't wait for Kabir to get back. It already seems like too much time without him. You know how it is :P π€ Its just when he does get back and puts Manav in his place, should be a treat to watch.
* the sexy Kabir bg playing in the background with Manav's puffy rodlu face trying to salvage something out of it, but the epic failure when he just can't * π€£
*Pure evil grin on my face * π
Now coming to apni heroine, Ananya, No, I am not disappointed in her. It's a first for her, and it's a lot for her the first time.
For better or for worse,( for now)she is attracted to Kabir, wants his friendship and believes she has fallen in love with him too.
And even though it will be a while before she's entirely sure of her feelings for him, she is into it, and neck deep and is trying to grapple with everything, and on top of it, Malvika making it hell for her.
She's bound to get conflicted about him and with everyone around her voicing out their opinions about Kabir, it naturally becomes tough for her to pluck the truth about what and how things are with him and about him, the man she believes she has fallen in love with. With Richa's words ringing in her ears and with what Malvika's going to tell her tomorrow, she will be in the all the more muddle of emotions than she is, and on top of it Ronnie's proposal. How much more can a girl take!
Ronnie expects her to accept his love for her, her mother too probably and Richa who wants her to see things from a practical point of view, but it's not easy for the person in question. And yes, there's only so much she can take before she reaches the breaking point, and she will, soon enough. π³
And when she does, a part of me wants Kabir to witness it firsthand. π³ He is a man of mixed emotions who can read people right to their core most of the time and the fact that with Ananya, there's no pretense, I want him to realize the depth of her emotions towards him and all things about him.
He cares a lot for her now, understands her too and if she sees her getting influenced due to the factors as they are, we might just see him shed some of his complexities so that she can reinstate her trust and faith back in her hero, in him. He wants that from her. Now, if that happens and what he does subsequently is something we have to wait to find out.
Singapore might just give him the time to think things through about what Tarini said to him, and well, if it comes to worst, maybe dissuade him when he thinks of his past and other things he believes that have to power to destroy his happiness and the whole self destructive side of his can come up which would want to protect Ananya from spiralling down with him into his dark abyss of pain, or so he thinks.
Seriously creatives, just give us a monologue of Kabir's. The brooding sexy thoughtful Kabir would be!!
The hope, that there is, of course lies in the fact that neither of them will back down for long. β€οΈ
Yes, he has his demons to fight but the fact that he is a fighter, and will eventually come out of it when he sees Ananya trying to break down the walls of his steeled emotional fort.
He might be a lot of things, but not a fool and definitely not someone who will deny the obvious. He might even initially believe he doesn't deserve the love and happiness Ananya can bring in his life, but eventually, the beauty of what he can get will win him over, Ananya will win him over. β€οΈ Its just a matter of how and how long it happens though!
Beautiful post, as always btw! Get well soon! : )
