That night in Yuvi's room……………….

The fantasy Yuvi dreamt about when he was with Ashi kept on cycling in his mind….he loved to imagine the feeling on how it would feel if Ashi had actually kissed him….he was really cursing the bolt of thunder that ruined the pathway of a new relationship……

Yuvi laid on his bed…the clock struck 12… and he was aimlessly looking at the ceiling….wondering about the fantasy for the 1000th time… he couldn't stop…. And he wasn't even tired….instead he got up leaned against a pillow and grabbed his guitar from his bed side….

it just took him mere seconds to actually put his feeling in the form of a song….obviously accompanied by Sid's loud snores… he played the most beautiful tune he imagined and definitely this wondrous tune woke some one up….

"Dude!! This isn't any time to play music….I need to sleep!!!" Sid grumbled "Sorry man…" came the reply…. Yuvi got up from his bed…now thinking how will he play??? He couldn't keep it pending till tomorrow…. He had to play and he wanted to play now!!! So he suddenly got an idea…..

In Ashi's room…………

Some one was also awake and couldn't sleep as well….yup, you guessed it….Ashi! she was lying on her tummy with her hands under her chin……. She as well was trying to imagine how it would have felt if Yuvi would have kissed her…. And she too was cursing the 'stupid-dumb-idiotic' bolt of thunder…..

She wanted to sleep but something wouldn't let her…. And she couldn't figure out what it was….. So she got up….sat in a meditating position with her hands clasped together and closed her eyes……

Suddenly out of no where came this beautiful tune of music….. She held her breath as she closely listened to the music…. And figured out that it was a guitar…. And guess what came to her mind immediately…… "Yuvi!...." she whispered…. And got up and followed the melody to the window still….

She glanced down the window and saw that on the bench Yuvi was playing with his guitar….. He was busy with it that he did not notice Ashi was looking at him from below…..

"Oh I hope she hears it…." He thought….. And that was his main objective to play under her room…..so she could hear it... and she did alright…… and she loved and enjoyed it soo much!!......

Ashi was smiling as he played and noticed his black curls bounce up and down as he strummed those notes….. She plopped back onto her bed and slowly swayed to the fast and yet romantic music…..she didn't know how long she was swaying until slowly she fell asleep with a grin on her face…..

The next day………

Ashi slept peacefully the whole night!!!! She was soo refreshed as she stepped into class the next day and everyone especially Yuvi noticed her bright bubbly face…. "Hi ppl!!" she said "hey Ashi!" Vrinda replied…. She looked around for one face she was dying to see since last night….. "Ashi Yuvi!" a voice boomed from behind…..

" hey Raj" Yuvi greeted the frantic looking guy…… " why do you look so worried?? Like your fish died or something…." Ashi commented " oh it is gonna die…really soon if you guys don't come to class right now!!!" he stomped away leaving every one including Ashi and Yuvi with a question mark on the face……

Soon both were assembled in the gym with Raj and Priya… "2 DAYS!!!!!!!! 2 DAYS!!!!!! 2 DAYS!!!!!" he screamed and sat down to calmed him self and got back to saying…. "We only have two days to the semis and we haven't even decided on the song….. Let alone the dance!!...." "Uh-oh" came Ashi and Yuvis reply…. "UH-OH!!! Ohhhh you need to say more than that…. I am really sorry but for these two day u guys will have to miss some classes in order to practice a bit more……..

'yes!!!' Ashi and Yuvi thought at the same fraction of time….. before Ashi could open her mouth to say 'no prob' Yuvi went to Raj and told him….. " here…..this is my idea for the song…." He gave Raj a cd…… "Hope you like it…." He added
Raj went forward to the music system…. And put the cd in….. Ashi looked at Yuvi who was crossing his fingers behind his back….. Wishing that Raj and Priya will like this song….

The song started to play Raj's widened and he looked at Priya who was also smiling…. "This is amazing!!!" Priya said….. "Yeah!! This is 'the' song! You guys are gonna dance on this song!" Raj said "what do you think of the song Ashi….." Raj asked her as he turned to look at Ashi who was frozen as still as ice….

Part 16

"Ashi…are you okay??" Yuvi asked and as soon as he said that Ashi realized….. 'That…that…that song!! It was the one I heard last night… it was the song Yuvi played…..' she immediately said "YES! That song will really go with the dance…."

And after every one's approval…. That was the most frequent song Ashi and Yuvi had ever heard….and every will….. It also turned into Ashi's most favorite song….. Yuvi was glad that she liked it….. And he finally thought of a title to the song….it was called… Ashi's song….

In the canteen……………..

Sid was very busy with what he was doing…..Yuvi entered the canteen and saw his dufusy friend really busy….he isn't even that busy when he's doing home work! Yuvi turned really curious….

He went closer to Sid and saw him scribbling something on a piece of paper…. But he wasn't able to see what it was….. "Hey dude!" Yuvi said… "Hey Yuvi….." came the reply from 'busy Sid'…. "Whacha doing???" he asked as he tried to see what he was actually writing…

"Nothing…." Sid replied as he closely kept the paper to himself so as no one would see….. "SID!!! What are you doing!!" Yuvi screamed and quickly snatched the paper away from Sid's hands and ran away with it to the gym room and locked the door from behind…

"Dude!! Open the door!!" Sid shouted from outside the gym room Yuvi ignored him and slumped down and smoothed the crumpled paper and read what it said:

Signs of Ashi liking Yuvi:

1. no more rude comments
2. no more dumb insults
3. no more shouting
4. looks forward to dance classes (Yuvi is there)

Last but not the least…
5. NO MORE "HEY BHAGGUU'S!!
Note: the last point is an important factor…….

Yuvi read this and was amazed and shocked…..sid did soo much research! But this is not true……Ashi cant just like Yuvi…she never did……..or did she….
