ok divs sargi means shagun like a chunni some fruits,sweets jewellery and saree or anything like tht which in punjabis a saas gives to a bahu opk samjah a gaya

sargi is specially given on karva chauth by a saas toi a bahu and woh jo khane ki cheezen hoti hain sargi main woh th bahus can eat before the sun rises and once the sun rises they cant eat anything and pani bhi nahi pee sakti
