These actors have already made a name for themselves on various television shows. With Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani - Dark Luv Story, they're all set to rock onscreen once again.

Initially titled as Fanna, the show revolves around a young child Pia, who is told by her mother that she is a special child, who has a lot of love around her. She is told that she will always be protected no matter where she is. The story then fastforwards to Dehra Doon where Pia is coming to terms with the world she is living in. She lives with her stepmother Madhu, who has warmed up to her. Then there is Pannchi, her older stepsister and Angad, her stepbrother. Will they all accept her? Will Pia run away from all this and where will her future take her?

We spoke to Vikas Goopta aka Siddharth Kapoor who told us, "It is a very young show with lots of twist and turns. It is a dark love story. My character is full of mystery and that would be unfold when the show would be on air ' It's not regular love story.."

Then we spoke to lead actor Vivian Dsena aka Abhay, "I am looking forward for the show to go on air. Basically its a dark love story. Abhay has something different in his personality which won't be seen in any other leads. I am happy that the promo is being appreciated by audiences everywhere, especially online."

For all our fans, here's a show with a truly amazing cast ' almost a dream come true cast, and believe it when we say it! For starters actress Sukirti Khandpal of Dill Mill Gayye fame is brought back! There has been ample requests to the channels to bring her back on air. She used to play the role of Riddhima. And from the past returns Priya Wal ' Anwesha of Remix (off air now) fame! Remix was the most popular school based shows just couple of years back. Priya Wal comes back as Nisha!

And then especially for all the girls - Vivian Dsena (Abhay Raichand) is an eye candy treat! His square jaw and physic is already creating waves among those following up on this show. And then there is bold looks, brawns and brains - Vikas Goopta (Siddharth Kapoor) who till recently was lead creative crew member of Balaji's Ekta Kapoor team, debuts as an actor on this show.

The rest of the cast includes Suyash Kumar of MTV Spiltsvilla 2 fame and actor Tabrez Khan who played Harman from Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. Hanif Hilal of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa fame, is also part of the cast. He go replaces due to differences with Gauhar Khan.

Seems Ekta Kapoor is remaking Twilight as a Hindi daily soap, Fanaa, that will go on air some time next month on Star One.

Shooting commenced this week with Vikas Goopta, Vivian D'Sena, Sukirti Khandpal and Priya Wal, and a supporting cast. "Fanaa isn't Twilight just because it features vampires and revolves around campus romance," argues Goopta, who plays the male lead and was once creative director of Balaji Telefilms.

Vampires in love
The plot supposedly revolves around two college-going vampires who are in love with human girls. Goopta insists that the soap, which will be on an evening primetime slot, is more of an unusual love story. "The vampires in our show are in love with women who will eventually become their prey. I'm paired with Priya and Vivian with Sukirti." he says, adding, "Ekta has hired writers who have worked on various Farhan Akhtar productions; a few have scripted the Sonam Kapoor film, Aisha, too. They will definitely come up with something original."

The artistes were put through rigorous workshops for over four weeks to help them get into character before the show went on floors. Apparently, Kapoor threw out Vivan Bhatena, the first choice for the lead, and opted for the 23-year-old Goopta.

"I can't comment on Vivan. Ekta knew I wanted to act in movies. One day, she called me out of the blue and asked if I wanted to do her show," says Goopta. "Today, I feel I'm back home."
