The truth of the matter is that the highly rated, long running shows have become a daily habit. I know of people who follow some( not gonna name any names) and they don't know what's actually happening if you were to ask them. When I asked one Aunty how could it be , she said she switches it on as background noise, since she feels lonely in the house. I'm not sure if this is the case with everyone, but from what she said, it's true for quite some people.

I liked her a lot as Radha bua in SGP ... that story made me tune into SGP, and she was very good in the show. Might give this new show a try ... Zee shows are usually all cut from the same mould though, so not much expectation 😛

She's completely right about Indian TV being completely TRP driven ... that's why it's so pathetic these days. No one bothers about storyline and characters any more ... it's all about what those 8000 meters dictate. 🤢 @ Bold : Unfortunately Its 100% true.Its really weird situation for all of us.Its so pathetic that only 8000 familes are deciding entire India population choices.

Well I agree Everything is now TRP driven. I never heard this word back when I use to watch DD serials. DD had some amazing shows back then.

This competitive world has just killed creativity and uniqueness.

The new show lined up on Zee is taken from an already popular marathi show.
Zee TV's show line ups is entirely TRP driven. Be it this new show or Jamairaja. These are the kind of show that the TRP aunties love.

On the other hand star plus is dealing with all fresh concepts and casts too.
Sony TV is high on mostly love stories with different backgrounds.
Colors the way it treated RR, I am not bothered about it.

I want Sanaya back on SP. Just hope it happens soon.

Look at KKB on Zee, what a stupid storyline. The ML is living in the house with his GF and the wife has been trapped in an MMS scandal by same GF and she is running around to prove her innocence 😲 ... kisko bhaiya ? kisko ??? and why...when adultery is already happening in the house. How the hell can her husband expect loyalty from her, does he not see himself in the mirror!!!!!!!!!!!! and this is a TRP topper show...yikes !!!

Sadia ji was signed in for an author backed role in RR and it all went down the drain due to diff. formulas etc that were applied, but still she has signed on to do this 7 saas wala serial, I wodner how much footage she will get in it with 7 ladies playing the role of the same kind, so it is a little botchy to talk about not getting enough footage etc. in RR! however she is right in her own sense bcoz what had been promised should have been given to her which she might be aware of now as to what she is stepping into. 😕

Joe is right... SP is roping in all new faces...they have started so many shows and so many are in the pipeline...will they really consider seasoned actors...

Sony is lagging behind bcoz all of it's serials are on the same concept of love marriages! nothing new...and COLORS is the still the most foolish channel ever ! They are only running on old shows...I don't know how many girls will fall in love with Jagya ji!!!

UT and SNS will never end... and the best part.. I just read somewhere that the great Ashoka serial they are planning shall begin with his childhood story and the leap of introducing a male lead will be done only after seeing TRP response... LOL !!! I am laughing like a mad person here. Is this even real? 😆

I am just thinking...this is the bread and butter of all actors/ actresses...if someone wants to excel in his/ her field, how will they achieve that because everyone is just running after the TRP hen ! What are they going to show and how will it sustain if all nonsense has only become the taste of Indian TV!

I am worried...;like seriously worried!
