Hi all,
Well, with Dhruv and Koel winning over the hearts of not only TRP aunties, but our very own baisas, I am really intrigued and have a few questions.
1. Does a kid's character make up for the loss of the FL?
Well with shows running for 1000+ episodes it makes sense, but for a show that is just a mere 7-8 months fresh, was about raw passion, story of PaRud right from the T, and it is something difficult for a fan to come to terms with the new twists. We had just started watching the show and watching a 7 yr old sleeping next to a father, within 7 mins - Shocked!
2. Shouldn't a kids back story be incorporated, to emotionally connect?
Well we saw him as 1 yr old and then in the same or next episode as a fully grown 7 yr old Shocked
It is nice, it keeps the suspense, but does it justify the character, in this case, Rudra?
Last 5 mins of the yesterday's episode, had a terrific and deep impact, and this is something we wanted to see, and hope that it does not get dragged in the process. A right balance might appeal and allow the die-hard fans to make peace.
P.S - Would love to see Rudra's random exit from the BSD, how he got into his new job and of course what made him so calm and composed.
3. 7 years - Too big a leap?
Well some may say, it's okay, no problem, it's fiction and have lost faith in the show and are watching it for the actor's efforts, but it would make sense if the promotions were right, and both the loyal and new audiences might be able to at least make peace with the decisions taken.
So all in all - It is working, currently. So lets hope the show justifies the leap and brings the magic of RR together.
4. Both leads die and then brought back - Greater impact?
This is something that many might agree. It is tragic to have one of the leads stay back, bear the loss, and it would be made worse if a look-alike is being romantically involved. Even if sparks fly, with the new twist, it would indirectly disrespect the previous couple.
All of this works if the first story is completed, has a happy ending and their future generation is involved in the new story, but I think RR is trying to think out-of-the-box, by giving us a Papa Ranawat with Myrah, so as to contradict the above and win over the hearts of it's fans.
It works - Thumbs Up and Clap and if not - Thumbs Down and Ouch!
5. Trying to connect the dots
Well we have wonderful threads, posts, and lively, healthy discussions abt the same, we are more eager to see out predictions come true, rather than enjoy the current track. There is a certain sense of excitement and well, hope all our dreams and wishes come true.
I am sure the creators have something in store, given the various "hints", so fingers crossed! Would wait another week to decide - Give it a shot or retire completely!
