I haven't correlated and analyzed TRPs for every week, but for those that I have, I noticed that when TRPs were high, the prior week's episodes' focus was on PaRud. Last week, we barely had Parud scenes, and I wonder if that's one of the reasons for dipping TRPs. Yes, having focus on PaRud may not have a drastic increase in TRPs, but at least we will sustain our loyal audience. I think this is the lowest rating for the show till date. With PaRud, though not great, the TRPs were almost double than what it is currently. In fact, they were enough to be considered for a slot change. If the rating continues to be this low, there is minimal chance of our show to survive. And more than anything, I want this show to survive for the actors.

P.S. I understand it must be hard for them to give us PaRud scenes due to Ashish's JDJ commitment and health. Soon there will be 2 performances per contestants each week, and it would become even more difficult.

Agree dear that last week had less Parud scenes but one reason was also that they were shifting sets last week and shifting while shooting for a daily soap is very taxing. So the episodes were rushed rather and haphazardly shot. So audiences would have got bored. And plus the same precap was aired from last weekend.

Parud romance is the USP of the show but we also need a good solid track centering Parud to garner attention. Romance always can also be boring. I feel this week was good cos we have a shatir villain whose main focus is destroying Parud thus they are the central focus and Sumer's marriage track to give the much needed kitchen poilitcs a boost. So i feel this is a good balance. If we can continue like this we might not see a drastic change in ratings but at least we can build back the loyal audience we had initially.

Solely my opinion. It can differ person to person. 😛

Agree, and it wasn't really an interesting precap either. Yeah, there are multiple reasons for low TRPs such as poor story, poor promotion, and things you have mentioned. I'm sure there are people who may have given up on the story and stopped watching. But having fewer PaRud scenes is also one of the many reasons.

Yes, romance can get boring, but they can have a small couple quarrels and roothna and manana (like they did this week). Basically , we all want a decent amount of PaRud scenes. I am not asking for all episodes to be filled with PaRud because actors also need a break otherwise they all would be exhausted. But I am not inclined on watching PaRud "drought" episodes either. Having a good balance of both PaRud and side tracks would be nice to see. I agree with you about this week's episodes. They all were great. I'm also liking this Sumer- Shatabdi track. It has great potential for light, witty, comedy scenes and kitchen politics. But then again it has to be executed in a right manner.
